Review for Coalition To Salute Americas Heroes, Williamsburg, VA, USA
Following my retirement from the military amidst a stalled economy, tough job market, chalenging disabilities, a VA health care system unable to keep up with my immeadite needs, and other'civilian life' adjustments;
The Coalition To Salute America's Heroes (CSAH) reached out and inviting my family and I to their Road to Recovery Conference event in Orlando, Florida.
This life changing 4 day event helped 100's of combat wounded Service Members and our family members by offering counseling, job assistance, financial budgeting & support, caregiver support, VA Benefits and entitlements counseling, all inclusive lodging, meals and Disney Park passes, and more.
We departed this event with increased awareness, direction, employment leads, and the confidence knowing that this "group of action" is just a phone call away.
My family and I were so moved by the Coalitions work and offerings, we all started volunteering, and contributing to this meaningful and transparent organization.
Living in Florida, and now working for the VA, I often refer OIF/OEF combat wounded Veterans to CSAH, to 'bridge the gap' where our government agencies are challenged on keeping up the needs of this population.
Just in recent months I have directly witnessed CSAH assisting with foreclosure prevention, residential air conditioner replacement, direct crisis intervention/suicide prevention, and other referrals.
A top tier, small non-profit, Veteran Assistance organization that's making a huge difference in the lives of those they assist......

I’m not in a position to comment on this organization PRIOR to 2012.
In 2012, CEO David Walker took over leadership for The Coalition To Salute America's Heroes (CSAH)Recent Audits, full discloser, and supporting evidence shows the Coalition is now on course to be one of the most respected and transparent Veteran Service organization of all !
I have followed this organization since Walker took over. The buck stops with him! He and his staff, along with his Board of Directors are transparent as all records to include financial are available to all for review.
We now more than ever need private and reputable organizations to step up and help our Veterans who served honorably while some others just sit back and criticize the world happenings without reviewing all the facts, often relying on dated information. "Complain they will, providing solution recommendations they won't."
CSAH is to be trusted!, for I have personally witnessed 1000's of Wounded Warriors and their families receive help, support, and much needed financial assistance when our government would not! CRITICS of this class organization; Please take a look at The Coalition to Salute America's Heroes web site, and other publishing's since 2012. www.saluteheroes.org
