This place is AMAZING! Tigers, bears, camels, coyotes, mountain lions and more—all rescued from either substandard zoos, roadside zoos masquerading as sanctuaries or misguided private owners—roam on hundreds of acres of prairie, while visitors watch them from an elevated walkway. Several of the “Tiger King’s” former tigers are now living their best life here! It’s so refreshing to see wild animals happy and in an expansive habitat. Best of all, they let moms in for FREE on Mother’s Day!

What a caring group of people! I came to Tri-Lakes Cares hoping to find a way to help out my new community, and I found the right place. Monument folks (and those from the surrounding area) who are struggling to make ends meet are not only provided with medical, food, clothing and financial assistance, but they're greeted with a smile and treated with respect. I am proud to be a part of it.
