I live approximately 30 miles from Keepers of the Wild. They have been very active within our community, providing educational talks to children and adults. They have also been supportive of those who have opposed the circuses (with exotic animals) coming to town. I have been to visit Keepers of the Wild many times, and each time the animals are happy, the sanctuary is clean and the staff answer any questions I may have.

Located outside of Kingman, AZ in Golden Valley, this rescue/sanctuary sits on 10 acres. The dogs and cats are well cared for by two caretakers and some volunteers. In addition, For the Luv of Paws collaborates well with businesses, veterinarians and community members to help the animals. It also runs a thrift shop and holds yard sales three times a year to raise money for the sanctuary. The volunteers are all great and very dedicated to doing the best they can. As a volunteer myself, I find the board members to be open and easy to work with. This wonderful sanctuary does extremely good work on a very limited budget. I enjoy volunteering my time to For the Luv of Paws and plan to continue as long as I can.
