We found Keepers of the Wild several years ago when we saw a video of Riley the coyote and his best bud Anthony the lion (rest in peace Anthony). This place does fabulous work for so many animals. On our last trip, all the S Dakota cats had just come. I particularly loved the wolf story of the miracle wolves. Keep up the good work. We are big fans and would be happy to spread the word. We stopped at Keepers by finding a brochure as we traveled Rte 66 in 2016. This is one of the top stops we made on our trip. The care of these animals is outstanding. It seems the habitats are tailored for the type of animal that will live there. We have since sponsored 'Kitty' , a lynx.
We will sponsor her again for 2017. Do not pass this animal refuge. Plan on staying a couple of hours more than you thought you would. By the way, there are great people there too.

They take such good care of ALL the animals and that includes birds. It a great place for kids to learn about the animals, and maybe see some of them for the first time.
My Grandkids will be coming out soon and that will be a stop for us.

The animals seem very happy and that is the most important thing. They do not seem stressed, bored, or agitated. The big cats act like they don't have a care in the world other than sunning their bellies. Some of the smaller animals seemed like they enjoy interaction with people coming to visit them and that was fun. The staff seem very dedicated and are more than willing to answer any questions and you can hear the enthusiasm in their voice when they talk about the animals. And what is the best thing of all is knowing that all of these animals were rescued from bad situations and now they have the chance to live their lives in peace.

The people at Keepers of the Wild not only take wonderful care of all of the animals, they also obviously love each and every one, and it shows. The animals are healthy, well fed, and I am sure are very happy to be in such a beautiful place with such wonderful people, finally safe and secure for the first time in their lives. These people do not "work" at Keepers of the Wild, it is not a job to them, it is a calling, and I thank each and every one of them for what they are doing.

This place is awsome. Jonathan and caregivers go above and beond just caring for the animals proper diet, habitat for each animal. They speak loudly for inhumane treatment of animals they truly are an insperation for the preservation of our presious wildlife.

Happily I have never needed the services of the ALDF for a personal animal issue. But I have watched them grow and become more and more effective in their goal of seeking justice for animals! They are a wonderful organization and I support them.

We visited this Sanctuary on my first ever holiday to America in September 2014 from Australia.

I was absolutely amazed with the lovingness the people of this Wildlife Sanctuary put in to their animals. If you are travelling past make sure you DO stop in and see the wonderful work this place is doing for ALL different types of species BIG and small . They even had Australian animals looking so healthy!

I would love to upload photo's but I do not have them on this computer BUT if you ever wish to have a look I would be more than happy to send them
