Amazing experience, tons of information and and the sweetest personnel. Definitely someplace I will go to again. Wonderful family experience.
My kids loved seeing all of these fur babies! Very amazing experience to explain every fur baby to my kids and for them to be able to see how big they truly are.
Had an amazing day there. Such an interesting and amazing place and stories! ❤️That awesome group of animals!
Great place to spend the day!! We Loved the atmosphere. Not too busy or overcrowded. The staff was so helpful, friendly, and informative. We can’t wait to go back!
We jus love Keepers of the Wild. It is tucked along this mountain on Route 66 just past Kingman in Valentine Az. We did the tour so the keepers fed the animals, which got them closer to us. What beautiful creatures. They are an animal sanctuary so they have rescued and helped so many wild animals. It is a must see to believe. The animals have enough space to roam and are so well kept. Thank you Keepers of the Wild for doing what you do. We tell everyone to come see you.
The first time I visited KOTW, I was really impressed at all the work they did to give the animals a good and safe home. The animals looked healthy and happy. Thank you KOTW, you are doing a great job!
When I went there with my kids, the staff was very understanding about it being my families first time. They were super helpful and walked us thru the whole process. The variety of animals was perfect and my kids loved it!
Visited from the UK in 2018.... drove from Vegas to visit! Had an amazing afternoon including the feeding safari. Keepers are knowledgable and genuinely love their cats and beasts! Animals are in huge, natural enclosures and we’re not stressed. Would love to visit again when next close enough. Lovely gift shop/snack bar and patio to have our picnic on. Keep the fantastic work up!

We visited as part of a road trip during our Vegas vacation in Summer 2018. We turned up at 2.30 and booked onto the 3.30 feeding, the staff were kind enough to let us eat our picnic on the patio outside the gift shop.
We were the only people on the ‘meat truck’ as I think most visitors for the day had been and gone so we got excellent 1 on 1 input.
The animals are simply incredible and their stories really do bring you to tears, the keepers know them so, so well and the cats especially seem to have a real bond with them.
My son who is currently training in animal management and zoology is now desperate to find somewhere like KotW to fulfil his own dreams (if we were US based I’d say expect his resume!!).
But seriously, this place is an absolute hidden marvel, a gem I can only wish we lived closer to. Hearing the cats ‘miaows’ echoing round the canyon and cliffs is spine chilling.
While searching on Groupon I stumbled across a deal for Keepers of the Wild. A few weeks later my friends and I visited and had the most amazing adventure ever. We decided to try the military vehicle driven tour and got to experience close up encounters as our tour guide was feeding the animals as we went along. As she was explaining how one of the tigers had a special greeting he literally walked over to the fence and sprayed my friend as she fell over trying to escape the inevitable. To this day we still laugh and remember how fantastic that day was! The staff were all amazing and cared for the animals as if they were family. Since our first visit we've all been back several times and keep telling others of this little hidden gem tucked away in it's own valley... Where the roars are amplified by the small mountains surrounding this sanctuary.
My boyfriend surprised me after a camping trip with a stop here. The grounds are impressively set up for the rescues! It doesn't look like much from outside but once you walk the grounds it's amazing to see the habitats they've created for these beautiful creatures.
I've been to similar settings that are a zoo/rescue and Keepers of the Wild is definitely the winner in my book. You can tell how much everyone cares for the animals like they're all their children.
It's like where's Waldo to find the alpacas! So fun.
We can't wait to go back and visit again!
Keepers is more like a real zoo than a nature park, except you can get closer to the animals than you ever dreamed!! We love it and they also have a gift shop and snack bar, great family day activities!!
We happened upon Keepers of the wild by seeing their billboard on our road trip. What a great surprise. I am a zookeeper and was excited to see these amazing habitats the animals were living in. It was nice to talk with the knowledgeable staff about the animals and their history. I would totally recommend visiting them.
Keepers of the wild was an amazing experience! You can tell that they love and care for the animals.
This is one of the best sanctuaries I've ever visited. The animals are clearly happy, very well cared for and loved. Between the immaculate habitats and peaceful surroundings of the sanctuary, I highly recommend a visit!
The animals looked healthy and clean and the sanctuary had beautiful areas for these animals to live the rest of their life in peace. The workers were very knowledgeable and had interaction with the visitors and animals. We watched a worker who didn’t know we were there lovingly talking to the bear through the gate. You can tell they truly care and are dedicated to these beautiful animals.
Visited and did the tour was during feeding time. The animals all seem healthy and very satisfied to be free to roam and relax within their habitats. The staff are all very friendly and willing to answer any questions. I would love to go back and visit sometime soon!
I can not say enough about this wonderful wonderful place. the staff is informative and entertaining and telling the stories of the animals and how they came under there care. I highly recommend the feeding tour. I live in Indiana but any time we head west this is a must-see destination. You can immediately see the love care and dedication for these animals when you walk in this park.
We were on vacation and stopped for a guided tour. It was amazing to learn about this organization and the rescue stories. The tour guide was so knowledgeable about each of the various types of rescues. This was one of the highlights of our vacation. I’m so glad we stopped and did this!
Absolutely wonderful! Their animals are all rescue with stories and the keeps truly feel for the animals they care for! I highly recommend this place to everybody I can and have been several times myself!
We took our gr. children. We all loved it .We learned alot about cruelty to these beautiful animals. Our guide was amazing. He knew everything about all the animals. The animals are so lucky to get to live the rest of their lives there.
Awesome Place! We love going, very educational but fun. Highly recommended if your in the area. You would never think we would have something so awesome so close to our community.
The love, care, and affection given to the animals goes above and beyond at Keepers of the Wild. I’ve volunteered there alongside some of the most dedicated people I’ve ever met.
The park is well maintained and cared for with great amenities, set in the beautiful mountains along historic Route 66. It’s a must see on your next road trip.
Had a great time at keepers of the wild the staff was so friendly and helpful. All of the animals were active when we went.
I love this place! It is so awesome to see the animals in a place where they are happy and taken care of. We went in the summer and got to see the white tiger frolicking in the pool. So cute! The tour is fantastic as well. 10/10–would definitely go again.
Jonathan Kraft is my hero. Anyone who changes their lifestyle from a user to a giver is awesome. His first priority with this sanctuary is the well being of the animals. They have safe, never wanting lifestyles. The sanctuary is clean and visitor friendly. All the keepers take better care of the animals than their fellow keepers. It is a great place to serve, volunteer, or support, financially.
This place is great! It's mostly run by volunteers and they are always happy to talk about the rescued animals and answer questions. You can see that their hearts are really in what they do, and it shows in how happy the animals look. They are always looking for new ways to offer the animals enrichment to keep them from getting bored and the watermelon roll and pumpkin time are great fun. All of the animals there have had hard luck in life and if it wasn't for KOTW their suffering would have continued, but now they can live out the rest of their years in peace and hopefully the years of happiness will eventually erase the memories of their years of abuse. I really love going there. My favorite is Precious the ring-tailed lemur. She is adorable!

The animals seem very happy and that is the most important thing. They do not seem stressed, bored, or agitated. The big cats act like they don't have a care in the world other than sunning their bellies. Some of the smaller animals seemed like they enjoy interaction with people coming to visit them and that was fun. The staff seem very dedicated and are more than willing to answer any questions and you can hear the enthusiasm in their voice when they talk about the animals. And what is the best thing of all is knowing that all of these animals were rescued from bad situations and now they have the chance to live their lives in peace.
Took my nieces 4 & 10 and they had a great time. Its really hard to find something they both enjoy. And this place was a HIT !! They both equally enjoyed it. We went at feeding time and it was AMAZING. My husband and I loved it as much as the kids. So fun. So cool. Great place . Must see !!

The staff was very helpful right when we walked in. We did the feeding tour. We learned a lot about individual animals, their history and personalities. Every creature has their story there. It was impressive to see the feeding, especially of tigers. I can't wait to go back. I appreciate all who work there and all they do for their animals.
My girl scout troop 2400 visited Keepers of the Wild and got to make enrichments for the animals. The girls had a blast. They got to then see the animals receive their enrichments. Everyone there was so nice, they even got to tour the park. They loved learning the animals stories. It was all very personal. You felt like you got to know the animals.
Keepers of the wild Valentine Arizona what an awesome place to bring your whole family the people are great very knowledgeable the animals are awesome it's a fun trip for all
Although I have not been there for quite sometime, I have been there several times in the past. The first time was around 1988 when I fist moved to the area. Since that time, they have moved and improved what was once a small little sanctuary for abused animals Each year on Facebook I always ask for donations for my birthday to go to this great sanctuary, because over the decades I have known about them, and I have met Jonathan a couple of times, they have only improved and made great strides to help these animals in dire need They have great volunteers and I know, and can vouch that any donations they receive go to the animals themselves!!
I have been there twice ! The work they are doing is amazing!!! Please support them if you
Can!!! Hopefully I will get to go visit again some day. Candy. Port Coquitlam bc Canada
I've been to Keepers of the Wild 2 times and am so impressed with all the animals they are saving. Especially the lions and tiger. :) They provide such a needed sanctuary for all the animals that are abused, neglected and mistreated. No wild animal deserves to live their life in a cage for people's entertainment. At Keepers of the Wild, they have free range in the wide open country. Their enclosures are large enough that they don't feel trapped anymore. They can be animals again. I love this place and will continue to support them.

I came from Tucson to visit Keepers of the Wild last year. My favorite animals are the big cats and Keepers of the Wild provides a wonderful environment for them. They all seem very happy and content at their new home.
I'm going back to visit this week to see the new lion, leopard and tiger.
I think they do wonderful work and I am happy to support them.

Keepers of the Wild is a wonderful place to visit! I have planned other trips around being able to make a stop here and support this organization. They do a wonderful job of taking care of all their animals in the most ethical way possible. The staff and volunteers show a high level of understanding for how the animals should be taken care of, and what is best for their mental and physical health. All of the interactions with the animals is done with the utmost care and love. This place is wonderful and everyone that works and volunteers here is what we need more of in the world.
We make a point to visit Keepers of the Wild every time we travel to Laughlin NV. It is truly heartwarming to see the care they give to each and every animal there, big or small.
We know without a doubt that each donation we make is being used for these wonderful animals. It shows over the years how the area has grown and each habitat is being made exactly as the animals need. Thank you Keepers of the Wild...
I LOVE Keepers of the Wild!! The animals are beautiful and are so lucky to be there. A must see.

All the animals seem very happy and comfortable, and the staff is well educated about the care needed for the animals that they are responsible for. Keepers of the Wild also steps in when an animal needs to be relocated due to closure of their previous home, or mistreatment at their previous home, or individuals who get these animals as pets and later on realize it is more than they can handle. Keepers of the Wild helps as many animals as they can. They also have full disclosures in their montly newsletters, such as when an animal passes away. Unlike some places, they have nothing to hide. It's a great place!
After experiencing a fantastic visit at Keepers of the Wild with my daughter, I keep up with the news of the animals thanks to their emailed newsletter. I contribute when possible and continue to encourage folks to visit this wonderful place. I hope to go back soon and share the experience with my Montana granddaughters.
I know first hand how well these animals are treated and cared for, i volunteered for 5 days to help care for them. They are treated with respect and well taken care of. Thank god for people like this to take in these animals that need a new home diane barone
I have visited Keepers of the Wild numerous times and have enjoyed the experience immensely! Taking the guided tour you learn about the animals history and how they came to Keepers of the Wild. The enclosures are huge and inviting for the animals. I could stay all day! I have such respect for this organization that I chose them for my Amazon donation.
We were visitors from Canada and found Keepers of the Wild to be the best we have seen for habitats for the animals in their care. Staff were excellent and always willing to answer any questions we had. We saw Johnathan interacting with one of the lions in their care and it was obvious that he was loved by them. Great job for the saving these beautiful animals from their tiny cages and being made to perform "tricks" to please audiences. Much better to see them in this habitat where they have freedom to move and play.
My husband and I enjoyed our visit to this sanctuary. We were impressed with how knowledgeable the staff was and how they put the animals in their care, first. You could tell that all of the workers and volunteers truly love the animals and their jobs.
I have visited many times, and I love this place! Plus they are taking care of a baby coyote I found! I am so glad these poor animals have a safe and nice place to live. The area is beautiful, and the people working there are friendly and they care!!!
I had such a great experience the first time visiting Keepers of the Wild that I am so looking forward to my next visit. All the employees whom I met are so knowledgeable and have such enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge, love, and commitment. I was enchanted to watch and listen to all that transpired - the explanations of the wonderful animals there, the care and commitment to each one, and the experience of seeing the amazing animals in their environments. This is such a great experience and also one to go back to - over and over. What kind and loving humans, and what secure and cared-for - and loved - animals. Thank you so much, and I look forward to my next visit so much!

I live approximately 30 miles from Keepers of the Wild. They have been very active within our community, providing educational talks to children and adults. They have also been supportive of those who have opposed the circuses (with exotic animals) coming to town. I have been to visit Keepers of the Wild many times, and each time the animals are happy, the sanctuary is clean and the staff answer any questions I may have.
Keepers of the Wild is only a two hour drive from Las Vegas and I love coming to see the animals in their habitats. On separate occasions I've brought my daughter and a friend to see the animals and understand the importance of their mission.
The spaces are always clean and well kept with the animals enjoying their environment and freedom.
We take lots of pictures when we come because we want to share the stories of the animals we see and hear about on the tours.
It is both educational and fun to visit Keepers of the Wild.
This facility is amazing - the animals are extremely well-cared for and loved by their caretakers. I am amazed at how well they operate as a non-profit! Its location is in a most unlikely place, up against the boulders of the high desert, next to Route 66. I sincerely wish that everyone could visit Keepers of the Wild and learn the stories of the residents - they will melt hearts and make converts out of new visitors. I support them by donating as often as I can afford, and invite any and all animal lovers and advocates to do the same.
Have been out to Keepers of the Wild many times and have never been disappointed with my visit. Went out there in May to see the new black bears taken in sharing the same enclosure. Glad they finally have a chance to live their lives in peace. Was out there last week and always like to see the big cats come around at feeding time. The lions were roaring and that is the biggest thrill of all. Always recommend Keepers to family and friends for a truly unique experience.
This is a very engaged and hands-on charity, no folks sitting in WDC eating dinners at our expense here! And you can go to the facility anytime and check what your funds are covering. It's an easy ride from Las Vegas, LA, or Phoenix, and a nice overnight trip. In general the work is rescue now, but in a few years perhaps they will have joined the global effort to save species in protected arks, until mankind evolves to become a better species too.
This place is wonderful. I highly recommend not just donating to this awesome organization, but to also visit! My husband and I visited a few years ago and to see the spacious and natural habitats that these rescued animals get to live out the rest of their lives in is really special. Seeing in person what your donations are going towards is really inspiring; we’ll definitely continue to support this rescue organization.
Jonathan Kraft has always had a heart for animals. His Keepers of the Wild has always been a top notch animal rescue facility mainly because of his dedication and hard work. I have visited them many times and known Jonathan since 1998. I would recommend this facility and especially Mr. Kraft as one of the country's best run animal rescue organizations.
This rescue sanctuary is amazing. There are so many amazing, beautiful, and healthy animals that live here. They live in good conditions and I am happy that they get to live out their lives at keepers of the wild after being rescued.
My family visited this organization and it was a very intimate venue and experience. We enjoyed interacting with the tigers and lion the most. One of the tigers was very playful and would run along the fence and jump when when my boyfriend jumped. He mimicked his actions and almost seemed like he was playing with him. It was quite fun.
