With so many groups that helps animals it is hard to know which to support. I am here to say Zumas is one of the most caring and dedicated group I know. They are dedicated to some of the most vulnerable groups and give them a good life. Love this group!

I was introduced to Dave Johnson over a year ago and to this non-profit. During this time I have had the pleasure of learning more about Dave and KACF, what they do and the many ways they help animals and honestly the planet. Children and animals are two groups that are vulnerable and often are the ones least protected. Thus I find I am drawn to groups that focus on these two groups, however, I also have found that sometimes they say that is the focus and they don't come through. KACF is not that group, they truly care about the animals and the communities they are in. In the conservation efforts they make it is not only about the animals but supporting the communities. Without supporting the communities and the passion of those involved with this group they would not be as successful. Cannot say enough about the work of this group!

I continue to be pleasantly amazed at just how much the volunteers are able to do even in the times of COVID. We all can appreciate that COVID has made it difficult to get our regular activities completed these days, now imagine if you are a child. The children in the Angel Covers programs have continued to get support and we continue to strive to increase that support every day.

Not only is support provided to existing programs, we have looked at opportunities to expand and improve the support to those programs. Further, we have begun to review opportunities to assist more communities, looked for ways to increase our visibility helping more people be involved in the work we do and partnering with other groups that are also positively impacting the world.

I look forward to being a continued part of the good works that this organization makes!

We all have choices in who we volunteer with and I have chosen Angel Covers for many years because of not only the people involved that give so much, but the work we do. Children are the focus and we end up not only helping them but their families in many respects as well. Our core work covers Nutrition, Shelter, Medical and Education and we continue to improve and expand our program support in these areas often. Having a clean water source, nutritious food, and a good education are things many of us take for granted, but seeing children (and their families) struggle with is heartbreaking and we have found ways to help. The support we receive from donors is a critical resource along with the volunteers and of course the resilience of the people that are assisted. Recently one of the groups supported by our programs experienced flooding and we are working hard to help the children, their families and the school recover. These pictures are just a glimpse of why I love this organization and the work that the many volunteers are able to accomplish!

Angel Covers dedication to helping children break the cycle of poverty continues to go strong. This growing, volunteer run, non-profit focuses on programs aimed at meeting the basic needs of shelter, education, nutrition and medical for children (and their families). Alleviating these burdens gives them the opportunity to make strides toward a better life and being a volunteer run organization allows for many more dollars to go into the programs apposed to overhead. Being a part of this remarkable organization that is making such an impact and supporting its mission is a privilege.

As my family and I continue to be involved with Angel Covers we are inspired by the volunteers and especially the kids. The volunteers and donors, many of whom have been a volunteer or donor for years, give tirelessly of their time, spirit and resources to help children see their potential, strive for their dreams and make great strides in building great lives as they grow. The kids bring their incredible spirit, hunger for knowledge and desire to expand their skills. The children the Angel Covers assists are not just looking for a handout or hoping for the best, they are dedicated to shape their futures with the help of all involved. Without the great volunteers and our very generous donors we wouldn't have the opportunity to help so many deserving children to develop into wonderful and productive adults.

I have been a volunteer and board member for this organization for many years and continue to be pleased with the on-going dedication of all involved. The children that are supported are grateful and are able to make significant strides in improving their lives. They strive to be the best they can be and they see that people care about them and want the best for them. Knowing that Angel Covers uses almost all the donations it receives to support the children is even more reason to support this organization. How many of us can say that all/almost all dollars they donate goes to actually support the charitable mission of an organization, which happens with Angel Covers (no one is paid including the Executive Director).

Started as a volunteer for Angel Covers a couple years ago as I was so impressed with Kari, the Executive Director's passion for children and ensuring their basic needs were met so they can become the best they can be. This organization puts all resources toward children and the volunteers are amazing with the biggest hearts and dedication I have ever seen. I am proud to be a small part of such an incredible organization with a small budget but makes a huge impact.

I met Kari when both of us were working for our children's sports. I very much admired her for starting Angel Covers and being such a giving person. Not long after our initial contact I started to volunteer with one of my children and found that I only knew a small portion of the work that Angel Covers does. The volunteers of this group are outstanding and very dedicated to the needs of children of around the world. All donations are used to meet those needs which is unusual, but is one of the primary reasons they can make such a difference. I am honored to work side by side with this amazing organization and its voluteers.
