Review for National CASA/GAL Association for Children, Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have worked with CASA/Prince George's County on and off for 14 years and have become very familiar with the National CASA Association. The work of the local programs would not be possible without the support, training materials, marketing assistance and awareness raising from National CASA. The work of CASA is absolutely essential in protecting our most vulnerable children and I believe National CASA has a vision that will help us reach the point where all children in foster care have someone advocating in their best interest.

Review for Court Appointed Special Advocate -CASA- Prince Georges County, Inc., Riverdale, MD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Abused and neglected children are one of THE most vulnerable populations in this country. CASA makes sure those children have a voice and don't fall through the cracks. I have been donating to CASA for 14 years and hope to continue to be able to do what I can to help.

Review for Second Chance Inc, Baltimore, MD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Second Chance is in the process of deconstructing a house in our neighborhood and I have been thoroughly impressed with their work. My daughter and I walk by the site on our way home from her preschool and we have both been fascinated to watch the process and the foreman has been very kind in explaining the process to us. It is incredibly heartening to know that the materials will be re-used. Houses in our neighborhood are being demolished to make room for bigger homes at an astonishing rate and I'm always nauseated by the waste as I see the materials carted off to the dump. This organization truly is a win-win-win for the people receiving job training, the community and the environment. Keep up the good work!
