Review for Federal Employee Education And Assistance Fund, Littleton, CO, USA

Rating: 1 stars

They fail to tell people that temporary housing assistance is against their policy despite being an organization that is supposed to help with emergency assistance.

These people had the nerve to send me a donation form. I had asked them for help previously and they had told me no. I truly believe that the 5 star reviews are bogus.

This organization only helps vets in disability ratings above 70% and is not notated on their website but they do claim that they try to help veterans as much as they can but they cannot help me.

Hi Sydney, thank you for your review. Although MWIN would love to assist every female veteran that contacts us, unfortunately we are unable to assist all female veterans due to demand of need and limited financial resources. While we use income as one of our factors for eligibility, income eligibility is determined on an individual basis. Please see https://militarywomeninneed.org/qualify for more information about MWIN’s eligibility considerations.

Review for USA Cares Inc, Radcliff, KY, USA

Rating: 1 stars

Their name is really ironic since they claim that they care. Im a vet who is about to get evicted and get put out in the street. They had claim that they had reviewed my case with me, which they didn't do. Basically, it was voicemail. They had left me a message to get in contact with them and I did call a few days later, only to receive a voicemail, which I had left. Then, a few hours later, the rep had left a voicemail stating that my situation doesn't fall under their "guidelines", but their email claimed that they are concerned and they would do their best to meet the needs of every service member or military family. So obviously in my case, they cannot help me. All I know is, I will not donate anything to this charity and will urge others not to do so.

Im a federal employee and I had went to this organization which did not bother to help me. It seems like they want to make up an excuse of not assisting employees in dire situations and their employee had given me a useless advice, telling me to google resources. I will not donate a penny to this "charity".

Review for United States Veterans Initiative, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 1 stars

Im a veteran and had called this agency due to me being evicted. I have been transferred from operator to operator and then to a voicemail. I have left a message to two different people to help me in my situation and so far, I haven't received a call back. *UPDATE* This organization is useless. They tell me that I exceed the income criteria and that they cannot help me, not even a housing referral. Please do not go to these people and do not donate your hard earning money.

At U.S.VETS we strive to provide veterans with the best possible care. In an organization that provides services for 10,000 veterans each year occasionally an oversight will occur, or we simply will not have the service that fulfills your needs. We appreciate the time you have taken to bring this to our attention. Please contact our National office directly at 213.542.2600 or at info@usvetsinc.org so we can provide you with the assistance you deserve. Thank you, Stephen G at U.S.VETS
