Review for Valley View Ranch Equine Rescue, King City, CA, USA
VVR and Marlene Dodge specifically are one of the top 10 Horse rescues in this country. I am a Horse advocacy researcher, Rescue/sanctuary reviewer and Wild Horse expert and I have never met anybody with such a endless supply of energy for doing what needs to be done. be it pulling horses out of actual slaughter auctions, feed lots. picking up 100% wild Mustangs and transporting them to their adopted or sanctuary homes, arranging training or "you name it" ! This women is simply beyond words for accolades and you can be 100% assured that any dime you donate to this organization is going to a good use.

Marlene does more for slaughter bound and misplaced Mustangs than anybody. Other then hre recent injury I don't think she ever spends more then 48 hours at home until she is on the road taking to pr picking up rescue horses and moving then around the country. She is the definition of Rescue and a rescue person in the 10th degree. Her love of animals and people cannot be exceeded. Her operation is in the top 1% and She is the best!!!
Review for White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue, Burkeville, VA, USA
White Birds staff is beyond phenomenal, This sanctuary is always going far and above the call to make horses lives better, How many others can be taking in 42 malnourished horses , arrange staffing, go to fund raising and information gathering conferences and work a full time job in other sectors and never skip a beat of motion in doing it right. I have been proud to look to them for advice since the day they responded to a blind old POA I had found at a auction and didnt hesitate to find a place for him. THey are always on my "AAA" list for asking advice and getting good advice back from. If you have any doubts look at the fact that they just were awarded the GFAS Carole Noon award!! that didn't come from ever saying " There is no way"

Review for Wild Horse Preservation League, Dayton, NV, USA
This org is top notch. they spend so much time helping other wild horse groups raise funds. getign the word out on wild horse social and preservation issues. taking the time to go to and participate in legislation issues regardgin not only the BLM but the NDOA wild horses of Nevada. every Dollar they raise is used 110% towards the benifit of the horses. My suggestion, Donate as much as you can as often as you can.

Review for Hidden Valley Wild Horse Protection Fund, Reno, NV, USA
I have seen this group of ladies accomplish so much for these Virginia range hross, from getting up in the middle of the night to herd horses back over borken down fences, to fund raising to this year taking on 150 wild ones they had to get from teh salughter auction. My donations have always went for what they are supposed to and been very well spent. I support them with 5 stars

Review for Western Montana Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc, Corvallis, MT, USA
This group worked overtime to find a home for a horse that was left on the property because he would not trailer load (had never been in a trailer in his 14 year life, then asked to load into a 2 horse trailer in the dark with a couple of hours to learn it) with instructions to put him down when he ran out of food. They arranged loading instruction for the horse on site and with their efforts to coordinate with other like minded rescues found a place for him where he is now in professional training and has a list of potential adopters lining up. Good work people. The state needs more of you for its horses!

Outstanding rescue operation. Very well run. Managed and their use of their funds could not be better. Facility is top notch, their care as well. These people helped with the rehoming of a 40+ year old blind POA found at a slaughter auction in Montana when another more well known blind animal rescue would not even provide suggestions or recommendations. They have taken him in, rehabbed him to excellent heath and provided for him as well or better then he had been used to when found. All their responsibilities (animals) are well taken care of. Jorg and Tom take this seriously as a business and to be run professionally as a non profit. I would recommend any donation you could afford or help you could provide to them without any reservation. You can’t do any better then this organization. They are the BEST
