Review for Alliance of Hope for Suicide Loss Survivors, Evanston, IL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This amazing site grew out of the experience and dedication of its founder who continues to encourage and mentor the responders. This is a labor of love that is a gift to all those survivors who have sucessfully followed an internet search to receive help with their grieving process.
The over 2,000 people who have been helped to-date form a solid foundation for the continued success of the Alliance of Hope and a dramatic proof of why each and every donation fulfills a compelling need.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Referring the site to half a dozen members of my extended Chicago community who were in need of this type of support. It also has an excellent referral section for readings one can turn to during the grief-stricken period. The survivors hurt for years after their loss. And, this site supports the many different degrees of grieving.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Suggest fresh ideas to promote its availability. It needs much greater donor support and a revenue stream for sustainability as the benind-the-scenes maintenance and interaction is 24/7.
