Review for Alliance of Hope for Suicide Loss Survivors, Evanston, IL, USA
After our son died by suicide in 2008, I joined the Alliance of Hope I didn't say much at first and mostly read others posts. The replies were always very supportive and encouraging. Over the years I have referred many people to this forum. The forum is a global community and has many levels of sub-forums where a survivor can find their niche and connect with the right people.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Because of my military service and our son have died by suicide while serving, I found my special niche on the forums. After many months of posting on the Military/Fire/Police forums I was asked to be a Steward of that sub-forum. I was also given a platform to blog on important Military Suicide issues on the Military/Fire/Police blog. My recent "A Death Less Honorable" blog was quoted from by the CNN news service and a handful of other media outlets. The Alliance is making a difference!
