Mission: In 1989 YGC began teaching a single Anger Control group at the Sacramento County Boys Ranch. During the past eleven years, we have developed a reputation for successfully helping young people involved in the Juvenile Justice System. With the 5,500 young men and women who have received our services, our average recidivism rate is 20%. Five years ago, we began to introduce our techniques in schools and through the Sacramento community to prevent young people from entering the Juvenile Justice System. By working closely with elementary, junior high and high schools, we are able to address many of the issues faced by young people and provide alternatives to negative choices.
