Mission: To cultivate the understanding and appreciation of opera though childhood education.
Target demographics: In school educational programs, girl scout and teacher's' workshops and voice competitions
Direct beneficiaries per year: Thirty six schools with in school programs, Florida Tropical Girl Scouts, Miami Dade Teachers workshop
Geographic areas served: Miami Dade Florida
Programs: Expenses incurred in various programs to support opera education in the schools and community - in school opera program, opera funtime activity books, girl scout and teacher workshops. contributions were made to florida grand opera to promote and support opera education. In addition an award was made to an elementary or middle school teacher that demonstrated creativity in the field of music education.
