I prayed for God to open up a new door for me! He answered in a big way, serving HIM through this beautiful non profit called Yesterday's Gone. Once I toured the property, I fell in love with the staff, the property ... and most importantly, their MISSION! Transitional housing for women coming from trauma and abuse. These women are given a tiny home to live in for themselves, their children, and even their pet ... where they are safe from their abuser. During their year on the property they are given a Life Coach, therapy, support groups, peer support, job opportunities and education for themselves and their children. These women are learning to live with strength, dignity, and be able to provide for themselves. Not only did I decided to volunteer, I have become a Volunteer ~ Volunteer Coordinator. I personally feel so passionate about the good work happening here at Yesterday's Gone, I became a Sponsor donating on a monthly basis. Yesterday's Gone, you have my heart!
We give our time, talent and treasure to Yesterdays Gone to support their great cause and dedicated people. They are literally saving women and children from being forced to return to their abuser or live on the street. Providing one year of housing allows these women time to regroup. The personal coaching provided teaches these women to fish and support themselves. This takes more time and work and money but is an awesome long term solution.

I recently made a donation to Yesterdays Gone, after learning about their impactful work in helping women in need. Yesterdays Gone outpour of love is what impressed me the most, because they are not only providing housing for women and their families, but also helping women achieve responsible work and financial behaviors. It's reassuring to know that my contribution is making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing challenges. I will continue to support this non-profit and encourage others to do the same.
