Causes: International, Promotion of International Understanding
Mission: To advance global understanding and engagement throughout greater seattle. Our programs provide opportunities for everyone to be a global citizen by advancing a deep understanding of international events and culture.
Programs: International visitor program -manages logistics, program development, and trainings for international youth and professionals visiting the region under the auspices of the u. S. Department of state and other recognized exchange programs.
community programs - fosters dialogue and discussion in our community by developing and implementing approximately 100 different events for the puget sound community through ongoing keynote speaker series, discussion groups, and lectures.
global classroom - addresses the need for greater international context and content in the k-12 curriculum by providing curricular resources, professional development programs for teachers, and engage k-12 students directly on global issues.
japanese connections - organize and lead high school students on two week trips to japan.
