Mission: Our mission is to strengthen the courage, confidence, and leadership qualities of girls and women through the challenge and support of group wilderness and community based experiences.
Programs: Youth development programs, human services programs, girls wilderness programs, women's skills clinics and retreats; serving girls and women through these outdoor programs designed to build leadership, courage and confidence. In 2016, women's wilderness served 365 participants with a total of 1,302 program days. 45% of all participants in the girl's programs received need-based financial aid. Additionally, women's wilderness piloted two new programs; summit sisters, which served over 100 women, and the queer wilderness project, a grant-funded lgbtq program.
