Mission: Wet productions was founded in 1999 to empower women and girls by producing media that challenges female stereotypes and advocates for equality. Since its inception, wet productions has developed, produced and promoted innovative, female-generated projects in theater, film and education. Wet's programs include world premiere theatrical productions by women writers, the development of plays and screenplays written by women through wet's inkubator, and a city-wide media literacy and leadership program for teenage girls, "wet's risk takers series.
