Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Neighborhood Centers

Mission: The Women's Connection was opened in May 1997 in response to the documented needs of women and children in Price Hill, a changing neighborhood on Cincinnati's West Side. The staff works with individual women as well as with groups of women and children. Programs and projects are initiated in response to needs identified by the staff and community residents. Collaboration is integral to the mission of providing life affirming and life enriching programs. The staff care about and want to nurture a child's natural sense of wonder and desire to learn. They encourage a woman's need to create, to give a sense of order and beauty to her life.
