I started serving at Missions in Motions during my freshman year of high school almost 6 years ago! I love serving with them because they treat you likely family and shine the light of Jesus to everyone around them. I enjoy being able to serve God with my time and hands, but also enjoy the fellowship with the leaders of Missions in Motion and other volunteers. They are a great Ministry that is all about serving both near and far! Their efforts help our local community and around the world, internationally with their many outreach programs. May God bless this wonderful ministry as they serve Him.
I had a very great experience with MIM on a mission trip to Mayfield, KY for Samaritians Purse in October of 2022. working together doing Gods work while meeting new people doing the same thing that we were.
I helped Missions in Motion at their “A Day of H.O.P.E. Homeless and Low Income Outreach" event and was amazed at the impact! I've never seen so many people show up in one disposition (slouched shoulders and dim eyes) then leave completely changed (eyes twinkling and standing a bit taller). I was so blessed to be a part of such a great thing! These people work so hard to make sure their time and money are spent doing amazing things for others. I highly encourage you to volunteer at one of their outreach programs because, I promise, you won't leave unchanged either.
Frank's Glass has partnered with Missions in Motion for several years as a shoe collection location. Cathy & Zacharyah are so passionate about what they do. They are very dedicated to their cause, bringing the community together to help serve individuals in need. Missions in Motion makes a real impact in providing relief to those in areas that have experienced a natural disaster, as well as educating these individuals so they can continue to make a difference.

The Fairfield Kiwanis partnered up with Cathy Shupe and her team at Missions
in Motion and their Shoes for H.O.P.E. initiative several years ago. It
was such a great organization that the regional Kiwanis voted to take it on
as their annual project. Frank’s Glass in Fairfield is a drop off location
for the shoes. The community has rallied around this great cause and many
local resident’s and church congregations collect shoes to donate so the
impoverished people in third world countries have shoes to help prevent the
hardship and life-threatening symptoms caused by parasitic infection and
soil transmitted diseases. Thanks to Cathy and her team for all their hard
work and their commitment to helping make our world a better place to live!!
I’ve had the pleasure to volunteer with Missions in Motion twice over the past year. Cathy and her family have a huge heart for serving the community and I feel blessed to have been able to be a part of their mission.
We met Kathy in Dec 2022 at a local mission serving the homeless. MIM was passing out hygiene bags to everyone who came in for dinner that night. We instantly had a connection with her and the group. We have served along side them at the city revival and a Day of H.o.p.e so far we look forward to doing so much more them. It’s amazing when you find an organization with leadership that truly loves God and his children the way Kathy and Dan do. It’s such an honor to be able to share Jesus along side them at these events!
This is a passionate group of people striving to make an impact in the local and global communities. They desire to place shoes on the shoeless and bring hope to the hopeless.
I am writing this testimonial for the 2023 Great Nonprofit Award for Missions in Motions International Ministries. I’ve been volunteering with Missions in Motions International Ministries since December 2022 and they always give a wonderful welcome and so much support and gratitude to everyone. It has been an honor to volunteer with them. They have done so many things for the community and the world. They made countless bags of popcorn for local churches, provided thousands of good pairs of shoes for people in need around the world, and always spread positivity, love, and the gospel of God to everyone. I can’t wait to see what amazing things they will bring in the future.
Each person involved has such a heart for Jesus and loving people! Their Day of H.O.P.E. Homeless and Low Income Outreach is such a special event where people are provided valuable resources along with needed items and fun. They are shown love during the entire event and leave feeling valued.
Metzcor has been volunteering at Missions in Motion for a few years now and they have been nothing but amazing to work with. We take a small group of adults with disabilities to volunteer and they love it. Missions in Motion works so well with our population and are so accommodating when setting up our volunteer duties. What they do to help people locally and across the world is incredible!
Missions in Motion Team is just amazing! I love their mission which is the main reason we started volunteering there with our Metzcor team to carry it out as well. The participants can feel the appreciation and feel proud of themselves when we leave. All in all, we are so thankful to be a small part of this Ministry.
Recently I helped organize products for the day of Hope event & this organization is amazing ! They spread so much joy while helping those in need ! I volunteered with a group from Metzcor . Cathy and her son were so helpful when our individuals needed assistance !
The Mission in Motion International

organization that provides food, clothes,
free health screenings, consultations, and

I have worked with Missions In Motion on several occasions. Dan, Cathy and their team work passionately and purposefully as they serve those that God calls them to. I look forward to working with them long into the future.
I started to volunteer with this organization three-four years ago at their Hamilton outreach event. They have the event organized really well and having all of the churches coming together along with local nonprofit organizations in helping low-income individuals and families get the help they need I always look forward to the event because of seeing people and kids that I know. Also to help advance God's kingdom and love the people spreading the love of Jesus!
Missions in motion has been an amazing organization to work with. I am a junior in high school, I’ve been volunteering with Mission in Motion since my freshman year and it is always a great experience. The work they do is incredible and I feel great that I am able to support their mission as a volunteer.
I began volunteering there as a part of a school club but enjoyed volunteering at Missions in Motion so much that I got my whole friend group involved and we all have so much fun helping and being able to do our part to support this great nonprofit organization to achieve their goals.
I am a fellow volunteer at Missions in Motion. I have been volunteering there for about 2 years now and am so glad that I discovered about their nonprofit organization! The messages and positivity they try to spread is very much appreciated and a total blessing. One of my favorite memories with them is when I volunteered during the day of hope. It was not only beneficial for the people in need but also for the volunteers. It was very humbling and felt like your soul was being touched. The various events, big or small, that they do make such a big impact on society.
This was our first time having the opportunity to be a part of Missions In Motion International Ministries outreach. The whole Team...was certainly "In Motion" during the whole event. You could literally feel the compassion and experience the unconditional love that was present during the event for the community...and the love and time it took to prepare for the event.
What an honor to serve along side Cathy Shupe and her Team along with so many other giving and self-less organizations. Anyone attending, the Guest or Volunteers felt heard and seen. Many items are donated and given away during the events, clothes, food, health care and dental services, even hair-cuts. But I have to say the BEST thing - that was Priceless - that was shared and given the most...was LOVE. Missions In Motion International Ministries is making an impact locally, (wherever they go), but more importantly they are making an impact and changing lives for the Kingdom of God Eternally.
This Ministry has the heart-beat of God!
I started to volunteer with them since this August. It has been going amazing. They are nicest people I have ever met and the work they are doing is even more amazing
In 2018, I was part of the missionary ministry of the Hispanic congregation at our church in Noblesville, Indiana. I was praying to God for a serving opportunity in which the Hispanic congregation can get involved and share the love with others with minimum monetary spend. God provided and presented me with the Mission in Motion crew at ICOM in 2018. After their orientation, we immediately got inspired and amazed by what Mission in Motion had to offer, we felt confident in this organization and felt the love that each staff member transpires to others. They provided the serving opportunities our Hispanic community can support and connect other people to Jesus. Our congregation participated in the Shoes for Hope program and we collected over 1,000 pairs of shoes. Missions of Hope supported us throughout the whole process, providing guidance and all the communication information that our ministry needed. Missions in Motion delivered the shoes that we collected to people in need and we feel confident about having Mission of Motion as our messenger we believe that our end goal of connecting others to Jesus was met with Mission in Motion by providing shoes to those in need. Four years ago, since I met Cathy Shupe and Mission in Motion team, our congregation participated in the “Day of H.O.P.E. Homeless and Low-Income Outreach” program in Hamilton, Ohio. This well-organized activity for low-income people of this community is really the reflection of the compassion of Jesus. I witnessed a boy accepting Jesus and getting baptized, that was one of the most beautiful experiences I had. I believe that many have been touched by God in this event and I also know that our congregation has experienced the love of God through Mission in Motion by partnering with them in this program. I moved to Florida two years ago and Missions in Motion still connected with me, they treat every missionary as one of their team showing their love. I am grateful to God and I feel blessed as he connected me with this beautiful team in my life.
I've had the privilege of working with Missions in Motion with A Day of H.O.P.E Homeless and Low income Outreach in Hamilton, Ohio. The team at Missions in Motion not only planned and executed this day with excellence, but more importantly loved on our community well. Because we serve in similar capacities, we see each other regularly at outreach events for our community, not only to serve, but to bring awareness.
Missions in Motion International has a heart for people. They are true examples of "loving your neighbor" and a joy to work with.
We have joined with Missions in Motion for the first time this year and have been overly pleased with the actions and resources they offer to the homeless and low income families of Butler County. We will continue to come along side them and hope to make an impact in the lives of the most needy in Hamilton.
Missions in Motion's Day of Hope was a tremendous occasion. Aside from giving me an opportunity to serve, it was a great experience seeing so many people and organizations gathering to minister to the less privileged materially, emotionally and spiritually. It was touching to see the joy and sense of worth and fulfillment that was evident in the faces and demeanor of those ministered to. This program indeed needs all the support it can get because it is a great outreach to communities.

Our youth group and church love working with Missions in Motion. They are awesome and the passion Cathy has is like no other. We have worked sorting shoes for the homeless and it was a eye opening, life changing experience for our teenagers. We also helped with a homeless and lower income event they held and it was awesome to see what Cathy’s passion created. It was an awesome event and a lot of lives were changed. We are honored to partner with Missons in Motion and will continue to do so in the future. Cathy and her organization is awesome to partner with!!
Cathy and Dan Shupe spoke at our Church, Calvary Chapel Cincinnati this past summer. During their presentation, they shared their vision for bringing hope to the homeless community in Hamilton, OH and how they felt prompted many years before to help develop mission opportunities for people who could not afford either the time or money for international missions, but wanted to put their faith to work helping others. The opportunity to help with this event was a blessing. The commitment and passion of those organizing the event was remarkable and when the day came, I had the highest expectations for the outcomes. I was not disappointed. The event was incredible. The grounds were set up to accommodate a crowd of people efficiently. Every booth was well equipped with trained, loving volunteers. The energy that was radiating through out the event was the desire to bless those who had turned out and to provide practical resources they would be able to use. The food provided to eat was unrestricted and the offer to refill their plates was constant. Other services such as haircuts, medical attention for wounds, a free clothing "store" as well as information on how to access important social services were provided. Missions in Motion desired not only to serve the immediate needs but to provide help up and out of desperate circumstances. If you were a homeless person attending the event that day, you could not have helped feeling the outpouring of love and support. It was their day in the spotlight and I was blessed to be a part of it.
Missions in Motion is quite an organization. This was my first time participating in a community event where volunteers from other parts of the state and other states came together to show love and compassion to people who have financial, health and social needs. This was a multi-volunteer and organizational event to address the needs of homeless people in Hamilton, Ohio. Missions in Motion organized and directed this event as part of their mission to make a positive impact both spiritually and physically, across the street and around the world. The annual Day of Hope outreach to the people of Hamilton was an event to show love and appreciation for people who are citizens within our local communities who feel marginalized and left behind. Matthew 25:35-36 says “For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you invited me in; naked, and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me. “Missions in Motion is an organization that takes serious this assignment given to Christian believers. The Day of Hope reflected this mission by providing the homeless with food, clothing, personal hygiene items, school supplies and access to social/community resource agencies addressing the pressing needs of the community. Special thanks should go to Cathy, Dan, and Zacharyah Shupe, who organized and led this event. They are remarkable servants of God. The outstanding work of this organization is making a positive impact on the homeless people of Hamilton, Ohio and is a great service to the local community.
This is an exceptional organization. There are few organizations whose purpose for existence is to show the love of God to homeless people. Missions in Motion is one of those organizations. I had the opportunity for the first time to participate in the annual Day of Hope outreach to low income and homeless in Hamilton, Ohio. It was a phenomenal event, professionally organized and expertly led, it provided social services, food, and necessary personal supplies to homeless people while at the same time demonstrating to them the love of God. It was a beautiful day for Missions in Motion to show to people love, value, and appreciation. A special call out should go to Cathy Shupe the CEO of Missions in Motion. This lady has the passion of one hundred people and her love for the homeless and her diligence was evident throughout the day. She is a godly woman, and an expert planner who through her efforts, did an outstanding job organizing and directing this extremely successful event. This organization deserves special recognition for its charitable efforts to the local community.
This is my second year to participate with Mission in Motion (MIM). I have helped in collecting shoes, inspecting shoes & repairing shoes to be sent out for people who have no shoes. It’s very rewarding. I have participated in setting ups & working the Day of Hope in Hamilton, Ohio which is a day for the homeless & low income. We set up tables & tents to serve them a hot meal, have booths for health needs such as blood pressure checks, vision checks, they can also receive glasses & reading glasses at the time of their visit. We have areas for children to make things , receive books, and toys. We set up a clothing booth, prayer booth, & this year we even had a portable baptismal. Each person received a loaded backpack of personal items such as soap, towel & wash cloth, deodorant, tooth brush & paste. We had laundry baskets with soap & softner for each family.
It was very rewarding to see all the different church’s volunteers pull together to make this day happen. I am already signed up to help next year.
My name is Doug Green from Louisville, Ky. I was asked to provide the Gospel Music for Missions in Motion starting in September of 2014 and continued until 2021. I only missed 1 event during all of this time. This was a very awesome time for me to be able to Minister to everybody that was at the Park in Hamilton, Ohio. My wife Gina joined me a few years later and continued helping me until 2021. Her part was working the Medical Booth as the APRN. It has been an honor to be a part of this Ministry. I will pray this event will continue and get bigger every year, Thank you Cathy and your Family for all these great memories. God Bless Sincerely Doug & Gina Green from Louisville, Ky.
Missions in Motion is a great place to to use my skills for the benefit of the community. The projects are needed and appreciated by those we serve. During the Day of Hope, it is hard to describe the joy on a kids face as he receives his first pair of glasses. or the pride in the voice of an old-timer as he describes the successes of his youth. I am happy we could touch the lives of people in a positive
Also, Missions In Motion is a great organization with good people. The management team members are a pleasure to work with. Thanks Missions in Motion
I am very impressed with Missions in Motion International Ministries. They make it easy to pitch in at whatever level you are able to help. I have helped pack shoes to send overseas for micro businesses. I have also collected shoes for the ministry through the school where I teach. In addition, this year I helped fit people for reading or distance glasses at the ¨Hamilton Day of Hope." Cathy Schupe ,her family, and the board of MIM are very well organized and have a great system for keeping their supporters informed and also for organizing events far in advance so that all involved have time to manage their part effectively. I am looking forward to continuing to support this ministry and watching God touch peopleś lives through his people!
Missions in Motion is an excellent non-profit organization that is dedicated to serving the community. They are diligent in their utilization of available resources to ensure a vast array of needs are met within the community. Their gracious spirit and willingness to serve sets Missions in Motion apart from other non-profit organizations.
I was a volunteer for "A Day of Hope" that Missions in Motion held for the homeless and low income adults and children in Hamilton, Ohio. This event was well organized and included over 100 plus volunteers as well as over 150 participants. There were many organizations that were represented during this event that offered support in many different ways. I was involved with helping in the transportation of supplies and equipment to and from the event, and in the set-up and tear down of the booths. During the event, I was a volunteer in the hygiene backpack booth. It was very rewarding being involved in all aspects of "A Day of Hope", but especially being able to hand out the hygiene backpacks. Seeing the look on the faces of the adults and children was priceless.
This was my first year participating in the Day of H.O.P.E. and to say it was amazing is an understatement. I was able to bring my crew from Metzcor ( a day program/vocational program for adults with exceptionalities) to Missions in Motions for volunteer experience prior to the big day to organize, sort materials, and count items. Cathy, Dan, and Zacharyah were so welcoming to our participants each time we showed up and were there to give us the experience we were looking for. I am super excited to work with them in the near future to have another successful year serving the Homeless and Low Income people so close to home. Their mission is incredible and admirable.
Our business, Buckeye Running Company, has partnered with Missions in Motions for years with their Shoes for HOPE program (helping other people excel). We have gladly provided thousands of shoes for their charity. They are nothing but great people with a great mission.
Our local Kiwanis Club has worked with Missions in Motions and their Shoes for H.O.P.E. program for more than 5 years. We collect shoes from all around the community and send them to 3rd world countries for people who literally have no shoes to wear. This helps to prevent disease that can be acquired through the feet. This also helps to establish some micro enterprises that help people to improve their lives. The staff from Missions in Motions have always been extremely helpful in providing the materials we need and in arranging for transport of the shoes.
I sat on a review committee for the company I work at. We were identifying charities/opportunities for our company to participate in. The founders came in and there was something different about them. They gave a flawless and moving presentation and I decided spot on that if the company did not support them in some fashion, that I would personally.
The company managers volunteered for a session to prepare toiletry bags for The-Day-Of-Hope. I went and participated in a shoe packing session that was a lot of fun. You could feel the love and devotion to their mission.
I am looking forward to when I can be more hands on with the ministry.
Missions in Motion is a ministry with a true heart for God's will and Christ's teachings. There is emphasis on both across-the-street and around-the-world ministry and service, so there are people of all walks of life being impacted by Christ's light shown through Missions in Motion.
Dan and Cathy lead Missions in Motions with great drive and passion! You can tell that the interest in people and meeting even the most basic of needs to genuine from the whole MIM crew!
Our organization has been working with Missions in Motion International Ministries for 6 years. We have collected shoes for the Shoes for H.O.P.E. program for one month each year to ship to third world countries. We have collected approximately 5000 pair of shoes each year. This hopefully helps to support micro-enterprises in these countries that helps people to be self-sustaining. It also provides shoes for thousands of citizens that have no shoes to wear. Wearing shoes can help to prevent diseases caused by soil transmitted parasitic infections. It has been an excellent service program for our Kiwanis Club.
We have had tremendous support from Missions in Motions Industries to help us be successful each year. They provide the materials we need to prepare the shoes for shipping. They also coordinate the pick-up and shipping of the shoes. We feel blessed to work with them and to provide shoes and hopefully improved health to those less fortunate than we are.
Missions in Motion is an outstanding nonprofit comprised of dedicated and faith filled volunteers. One of the organization's most dynamic efforts has been in homeless outreach in the city of Hamilton, Ohio. Missions in Motion spearheads a large group of other nonprofits and businesses to provide a day of support for the homeless and low-income people of the area. Included in that support has been food, clothing, hygiene products and even haircuts. In addition to meeting basic needs, Missions in Motion offers spiritual support for those who are struggling.
I was involved in the "A Day of H.O.P.E. Homeless and Low Income Outreach" event in Hamilton, Ohio on 9/14/2019 with a group from my church. We heard testimonies from homeless people the program helped from past events. There was free food and water and deserts and activities, and free packages handed out to the homeless with various necessities. To me the main part of it was the booths for the programs available to the homeless to help them find jobs, food, housing and hope. I enjoyed the event from setup to tear down and look forward to participating in the next local event. Thank you to Cathy Shupe, CEO of Missions In Motion International Ministries for sponsoring and inviting us to this event.
I have been most impressed by the family who runs this nonprofit. The founder's heart is duly equipped because her childhood background was rocky; her heart for God certainly shines through too. But Cathy is also very organized, very detailed, and very calm in the midst of pulling together disparate volunteer groups and myriad outreaches, all happening at the same time. I'm referring especially to the Day of Hope, but there are other aspects to this ministry as well. I'm happy to have connected with such a great hands-on ministry.
I have worked with Cathy and her team at Missions in Motion on several projects over the last few years. I appreciate there heart for others that are in need. We have partnered with them on a event called A DAY OF HOPE and it proved to be very positive as they brought together many groups and organizations to help provide resources to the homeless and low income families in the community. Cathy always has a smile on her face and her energy is so uplifting to all those involved. I look forward in working with them on their next event for 2021.
We are a small homeschool group in Va. We love for our families to be involved in community projects that allow families to work together, thus increasing the bond of the family unit and also encouraging people around the world. The shoe collection for those in need of shoes was a perfect fit for our group. The people who donated the shoes also made comments about the joy they had in being able to help others. God always works this way! We appreciate the integrity of the workers at Shoes for H.O.P.E. They kept us informed and helped us tremendously in being able to accomplish this goal of collecting over 2,500 pairs of shoes. We thought this would be a goal that we would have difficulty doing in our small group but the workers at Shoes for H.O.P.E. showed us how and supported our efforts in completing this wonderful project! We highly recommend this organization.
While on a mission trip in 2017, I had the pleasure of meeting the people from Missions In Motion International Ministries. During our times of conversation, they shared about their programs and the impact this has had in many countries.
In January 2019 I had the privilege of taking part in their Angel Feet Program while in Honduras. There we were washing the feet of children, putting on new socks and shoes that were donated especially for the Angel Feet Program. The smiles on the children's faces and their hugs provided a steady stream of tears flowing down my face. As a 75 year old great grandmother the experience of being part of a mission to show love to others in a personal way still brings tears to my eyes. Missions In Motion is an organization that truly makes a positive impact, both spiritually and physically, across the street and around the world.
I had the pleasure of helping lead our church in the collection of shoes for the SHOES For HOPE program . We reached out to other churches and schools in our community to collect shoes and make a difference in the lives of people around the world. Cathy Shupe was a great resource to our church and very pleasant to work with. Her enthusiasm for missions is contagious!
This is a group with a huge heart for God. They are relentless in their desire to share the Gospel. It drives everything they do. I am blessed to know Cathy and Dan. They inspire me!
Missions in Motion has supported our non-profit for about 6 years, providing volunteers to help in our warehouse, on a regular basis, and in emergency/crisis times. They have been an immeasurable asset to us, bringing large teams to allow us to tackle big projects that would often be left undone because of the lack of resources. In one case, they brought 20+ people to work long hours to prepare a cargo container shipment to a developing country that was in great need due to economic and environmental disaster. I have found their leadership to be devoted, focused, and full of integrity and have thoroughly enjoyed our partnership.
I first met Cathy Shupe at a Kiwanis Meeting in West Chester, Ohio. She talked about the “Shoes For H.O.P.E.” program in making a positive impact by the collection of new and gently used shoes for people who don’t have shoes. I learned this is a way of preventing serious disease, especially for kids walking to school. We collected a lot of shoes that day which I helped load into her pick-up truck. I was impressed with the sincerity of her presentation and the practical ways of making a difference. Her methods were leveraging. She reminded me of some of the methods used by Mother Teresa, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
I am one of the sponsors of Missions In Motion annual homeless outreach program called “A Day of H.O.P.E.” to benefit the homeless and low-income community in Hamilton, Ohio. On Saturday, September 14th the organization will celebrate their 5th year, attracting more than 150 volunteers, providing meals, haircuts, health screening, hygiene kits, clothes and makeovers. The event is growing year-over-year, helping to restore and build dignity, benefitting children, families and individuals experiencing or facing homelessness. Also, if you participate, you will feel great, connected to humanity and our community of Hamilton, Ohio, providing hope.
I work part time at a running shoe store where Missions in Motion has a collection point. It has been such a blessing to see my customers get excited when they find out their used shoes can be used as a blessing to others. I cannot tell you how many times people have left our store only to come back a short time later with bags of shoes because they want to participate in this great ministry. I have gotten to see this non profit grow over the last 3+ years because of the hard work and service mind set of Missions in Motion.
I have been a community volunteer for “Missions in Motion” for the last 2 years. I have assisted with their local community event to provide dinner and hope to homeless and low-income residents of Butler County, Ohio. With their help, meals, hair-cuts, school supplies and clothing were provided to over 200 residents. They also collect thousands of shoes and deliver them to third world countries such as Honduras and Mexico. It is inspiring to be a part of such a caring organization. They share the gospel and provide inspiration to all those who meet them. As a leader of a local human service organization, it has been one of the most inspirational experiences of my career.
It is truly inspiring to volunteer with the Shupes at Mission in Motion. They have the biggest hearts, unstoppable drive and motivation, and a deep love for Jesus. I am blessed to have met them. Missions in Motion International Ministries is a truly amazing non-profit, that touches lives here and over seas.
Missions In Motion is such a beautiful and well run organization. This is our third year participating in The Day Of Hope event in Hamilton and our team looks forward to it every year. Cathy Shupe and her team are so professional and caring!
I helped Missions in Motion collect shoes and socks for their recent trip to Honduras to distribute them. We are so blessed to live here in the US where simple things like shoes are so abundant. The cool thing the folks who went to Honduras to distribute the shoes did to the recipients prior to giving someone a pair of shoes and socks was to wash their feet, much like Jesus did. They are true servants of God!
I have volunteered with Missions in Motion for a few years.
We help with the shoe project sorting and bundling.
I have cut hair at the Day of Hope outreach for the last 4 years.
It always blesses me.
I love the heart of all the team to just show people Jesus and that they are loved!
I really enjoy volunteering for Missions In Motion's SHOES for H.O.P.E program because I get an opportunity to help other people in foreign countries have a better quality of life with gently used or new shoes. It's really awesome to be involved with an organization that makes such a difference for others who need shoes. Before volunteering sorting and bagging shoes for the Shoes for H.O.P.E program, I didn't realize how many people were going without shoes and how great the need is. It's been such a blessing to help serve in such a caring organization!
I have been a part of Missions In Motion International Ministries since 2012. I have really enjoyed being a part of this organization. Missions in Motion does a lot to support International ministries and local ministries too. The organization is about being the hands and feet of Christ and helping those in need so they can see and feel the love of Christ.
God has allowed me to be involved with this awesome organization and I'm so thankful for that. 2 things that sets Missions in Motions apart from other organizations is their integrity & the fact that family's with really little children can do things with them. Those 2 things are something you don't find everyday in an organization.
Missions in Motion has such a sweet heart for the people in our community. They've committed their days to help and think of others before themselves. We are privileged to partner with them by collecting shoes and helping with events like "A Day of H.O.P.E." They are making a difference. (:
I have been privileged to serve with Missions in Motion International Ministries (MIM) programs such as "Shoes for H.O.P.E." and "Day of H.O.P.E." The shoe program helps conserve resources and serves the underprivileged in Haiti, who are now able to protect their feet through shoe donations here in the U.S.
The "Day of H.O.P.E." truly helps brighten the lives of low income and homeless in the greater Hamilton, OH area by providing food, haircuts, health screenings, and many other valuable resources for them. It was exciting to be a part of a celebration for these people groups. Helping people understand that they are significant through the "Day of H.O.P.E." is a critical component of lifting them out of their circumstances. Along with caring for people, it was good to see that MIM is caring for the earth through recycling at the "Day of H.O.P.E." event.
I love that Missions In Motion gives so much time, energy and love to the communities they reach out to. They have a spirit of excellence in everything they do and it translates well.
I was able to work with some of the staff and leaders of Missions in Motion when they served with Samaritan's Purse, rebuilding homes in central Arkansas. As the construction supervisor for the site, they were a joy and blessing to work with. They lifted my spirit and brought encouragement and blessing to the entire team that week. They served with excellence and were a determining factor in earning the "best finished home" tagline.
I would encourage anyone to work with Missions in Motion as they seek to share the hope and joy found only in Jesus Christ!
West Chester Academy has absolutely loved partnering with Missions in Motion to be a shoe drop off location for Shoes for H.O.P.E. What began as a single, month long shoe drive at our location, has grown into a permanent shoe drop spot for our families and the greater West Chester community. We love supporting this wonderful organization, and appreciate the opportunity to serve our local and international communities through Mission In Motion's meaningful, impactful work. Thank you for all your are doing, and for inviting us to be part of your outreach!
Serving as a board member for Missions In Motion International Ministries has opened my eyes to the needs around the world, and in different cities within the United States. It has even opened my eyes to the needs in our own communities. This is the reason why I serve in the organization it allows me to help so many people in many different parts of the world. I have always wanted to do missions work in other countries, Missions In Motion International Ministries has made is possible for me do just that as well.
Before my affiliation with Missions In Motion, I very rarely participated in any kind of missions work or outreach because it seemed too difficult and out of reach. After all, missions work is something trained, educated, and adventurous people go do, right? I wasn’t qualified like a trained missionary working in a foreign mission field. However, as a follower of Jesus Christ, missions is exactly what I’m called to do. This is where being a part of Missions In Motion has been such a blessing and eye opening experience for me personally. The organization helped me to put my faith into action and get involved in local, domestic, and international short term mission work and disaster relief. It has been greatly rewarding in terms of not only reaching others for Jesus Christ and making a positive impact in the lives of others, but also in building good friendships with the Missions in Motion team. As a Board Member, I’ve had the privilege of working with a very loving, compassionate, and dedicated team of people collecting shoes for people in other countries that don’t have access to shoes, serving meals to the homeless at the “A Day of H.O.P.E. Homeless Outreach”, and doing disaster relief. I want to continue in that mission to help others make a positive impact and put their faith to work by being involved in missions.
My testimonial is that it all started with working with Missions In Motions so many doors has been open in regards to assisting and helping others. Its been a blessing and honor to work with such a group. Missions In Motions has made my dream in helping others come true.
The purpose of this organization is to remove the barriers that keep people from going outside the four walls of the church to serve those who are in need. Some people think that they can't serve in the mission field because they have small children, or because they don't like to fly, or because they don't have the financial resources; but Missions In Motion provides ministry opportunities for all ages, serving in the local community, throughout the United States, and in various foreign countries. They will answer any questions that you have, and will take care of all the details. These folks prove that you can have a lot of fun, while making a positive spiritual and physical impact in the lives of others, all for the glory of God!
Shoes for HOPE WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR THE COMMUNITY OF Anderson County. Everyone was so involved in the effort to collect Shoes and help packaging. The best part was seeing the youth in the community come together to benefit others by volunteering their time.
As a result of the shoe drive we helped others, and were able to feed students at the middle school as a reward for there efforts as well as a ice-cream party for the preschool
And elementary students that were involved. We had the support of the entire community and our high school senior students were able to receive gift baskets for college as part of their reward for making the shoe drive a success. Shoes for Hope was definitely a life changer for all those involved.
