When I first started my business, I went to the WBDC for their quick start program. It helped me decide whether I was making the correct decision. Since then I have found them to be very supportive of all women business owners. Each year, they have a conference that has served to be very helpful to women business owners.

This is a great organization and one I recommend to all new and existing women business owners.

I experienced the services of the WBDC by attending their JumpStart and e-Marketing series of training classes. Both series were excellent in terms of value for money, quality of training, convenience of evening class schedules, the opportunity to meet other women in similar stages of their business development. In addition the class environment was very welcoming with a very open approach, irrespective of anyone's previous level of knowledge about any given subject.
I looked forward to attending the classes and learned more there in 6 weeks about such things as market research, marketing strategy, financial planning, blogging, search engine optimisation, utilising internet media etc. than I would have done through months of self teaching, reading books, or networking. I would definitely recommend the classes to anyone thinking about starting a new business or thinking about ways to effectively market their business offer.
