Mission: The mission of wny heroes is to provide veterans, members of the armed services, and the widows and children of deceased veterans with access to essential services and resources that support their lives and sustain their dignity.
Programs: Bridging hearts - wny heroes provided grants to combat veterans and their families with rent, mortgage, utilities, food, and holiday meals.
kids are heroes too - wny heroes paid for classes, lessons, and equipment and uniforms for children of veterans that are sometimes too costly to fit into a military family's budget.
adopt-a-vet-family toy drive is a holiday program to provide veteran families with toys during the holiday season.
other programs and services - pawsitive for heroes: wny heroes provides combat veterans with a service dog & training to benefit from medical issues, including ptsd. Wny heroes also provides scholarships to the children of veterans.
