Causes: Community Foundations, Homeless & Housing, Housing Support, Philanthropy
Mission: Williams-Sterling Foundation was formed on April 12, 2007. The foundation was formed, as a special purpose non-profit entity, to provide disaster relief programs in the form of gap philanthropy financing and real estate development assistance. This goal will be achieved in the form of construction grants and private grant sources; when insurance and other settlement monies are insufficient to meet storm-impacted losses the foundation will step in to assist citizens in meeting the need. Realistic opportunistic outreach to the elderly disable and other Americans affected by the Gulf Coast Hurricanes is absolutely necessary. These philanthropic services will be donated for storm-impacted Louisiana Gulf Coast homes owners whose losses may have extended beyond their homes. Specifically in the following Louisiana Parishes:Orleans; East Baton Rouge; Calcasieu; Jefferson; St. Bernard; St. Tammany; Cameron; Plaquemines; Terrebonne and Vermilion
