Mission: To schedule, manage and promote athletic contests of wichita state university in harmony with the general education policy of the university.
Programs: The athletic association sponsors eight women's sports and seven men's sports which compete in division i of the ncaa and in the missouri valley conference. Grants in the form of scholarships were made to 260 student-athletes and 20 student team managers.
