Whisper n Thunder was founded on New Year's Eve, 2010, birthing our online magazine at www.whispernthunder.org. Since that time our initiatives have grown to include our WINDS Scholarship Program EREZ Emergency Assistance Program, WnT BlogTalk Radio, WnT YouTube channel, Gathering of Women conferences, ATHENA Leadership Classes for Native American high school girls (2014) among other works. Our magazine continues to be a success with over 2.7 million site requests. Our all volunteer leadership team consists of 9 Board Members and 13 Ambassadors, who all have passion for what we do. We consider ourselves to be a fierce, grassroots impact nonprofit. We our humbled to serve our EREZ families, who need heat desperately as they are among the poorest people in the northern hemisphere. Our scholarship and leadership programs are aimed to help nurture the existing strengths and glorious leadership found in Indian Country today. We want to share the truth of Indian Country, and together with your help, we do all this and more.
