Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Group Homes, Human Services
Mission: Westside community focus is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching independent living skills, as well as providing housing, advocacy and other services that primarily assist adults who have developmental disabilities. We strive to promote the confidence and capability of our clients, encouraging the acquisition and maintenance of valuable life skills necessary to live successfully and productively in the community.
Programs: Group homes: the organization operates three group homes in the portland metropolitan area, each serving five residents.
supportive living and semi-independent living: our supported living program is located in se portland and serves clients who live independently in their own home. We assist with advocacy, money management, nutrition, medication, housing and various other residential supports. During this fiscal year the organization served 56 clients and families through this program.
