Programs: The westside community development corporation works with local partners and agencies to promote and provide bilingual educational workshops and resources to the area's low -moderate income residents living within the neighborhood revitalization strategic area (nrsa) regarding economic development, neighborhood revitalization and energy conservation. In addition, the wcdc sponsors and supports neighborhood pride clean-ups, beautification/mural projects and grass-roots led projects to assist in eliminating areas of blight while mobilizing and initiating residents and businesses to invest in the neighborhood in which they reside or do business. Administered subrecipient grant agreement for vccool, an organization that reaches out to the community, homeless, low income and youth through assistance with maintaining their bicycles.
