Mission: The orchestra is dedicated to inviting and attracting people of diverse backgrounds to its concerts and continues to explore new partnerships with local schools, libraries, and community centers, so that all in the community have the opportunity to experience the joy of a live, classical music concert.
Programs: The organization's mainstage concerts have a focus on presenting the best music of the past and present; placing particular emphasis on providing young musicians with an opportunity to perform with, or compose for, a professional symphony orchestra early in their careers.

This orchestra, particularly in the past year, has provided the citizens of Westchester County, NY many opportunities to enjoy performances by world-class popular and classical musical artists of the highest calibre, and at proces that are a fraction fo what they would be in a venue in a major metropolitan city anywhere else in the world. The orchestra's Artistic Director Itzhak Perlman has achieved remarkable success with the orchestra members, and their Executive Director Joshua Worby is pursuing an active program of extending the orchestra's reach into many other communiy venues in Westchester County, NY with a series of concerts this season that is more ambitious and diversified that ever before. Plaudits to this fine and great community musical group!
