Mission: To unite for the mutual benefit and common interest all people engaged in the investigation of arson and related crimes. To provide for the exchange of technical information and new developments in the field of arson investigation. To encourage cooperation between all agencies, public and private, in the battle against arson. To promote high standards of professional conduct among arson investigators. To strive for greater professional competence in the techniques used by arson investigators. To create public awareness of the seriousness and extent of the crime of arson.
Programs: Provide, on a regional basis, fire and law enforcement training requirements that qualify annually for texas commission on law enforcement and texas commission on fire protection certification, credit, and professional development for individuals, perspective communities and jurisdictions.
