Grace campus is a joke I got kicked out for no reason none what so ever plus the staff that's in charge smoke weed and dope I have seen it with my own eyes ,it should be shut down asap they have favorites and they been brainwashing my wife sick people place is garbage.
Been trying to get in touch with them but no answer I'm homeless with my wife and need a couple's place I worked with the owner a few years back and even helped put up the inner fence there plus I'm working but motels are high every day I wish Chris would text me and tell me there is a opening there cause the street sucks and my number is 806 300 4775 and the name is Thomas
I was welcomed at Grace Campus as a homeless person seeking shelter ,for two days I was placed in temporary housing then asked to move into permanent housing & was advised I'd recieve a key to a shack, upon my moving into permanent housing I had to go to work& told I'd recieve a key later upon my return, when 9:00pm came around I left the barn to request I be allowed to enter my shack ,Mary the supervisor asked a very tall older gentleman to please open up my shack , with a very disrespectful attitude he stated I might have one or I might not...I simply stated " sir you're absolutely correct,I will wait till you are able to let me in ,I'm a guest & I can't demand anyt6" all my personal belongings are in the shack , not to mention that my phone was taken unwarrantedly from the barn while being charged and subsequently thereafter when I asked to move into be allowed into my edifice it was a big ordeal everyone had an attitude no one wanted to open it up so I went to Justin the maintenance other main guy, he immediately got all the defensive and went together let me telling me that he don't have to do nothing and rushed me and assaulted me and pushed me on the ground for no reason no warrant no nothing subsequently the cops were called I waited outside the facility grounds because I knew that I would be held accountable had I stayed on the premises so I remove myself voluntarily on my own volition and when the police department came I explained my story they wouldn't spoke to Justin he admitted that he assaulted me first then he came up with a story about a knife the cops the police department officers search me didn't find a knife didn't find anything his actions were unwarranted Mary's attitude was unwarranted and the older gentleman the taller gentleman that runs the grounds there also had a very very nasty attitude from the beginning when my phone first came up missing I am going to press charges on Justin cuz I have a case number and I want the public to know that the individuals that run the race campus that are allowed to dictate what takes place in what does it are very very poor choices and according to the police department they've had calls on the same people multiple times and there's going to have to be some type of restructure and even if I have to get my lawyers involved and the chamber of commerce involved too because I feel I was treated unfairly and understands they've had many incidents out there where these individuals are culpable of actions that don't coincide with Grace campus guidelines procedures and protocol and I'm going to push the issue to the full effect and I would like for the director to call me so that I can speak to him personally and I also have a case number that I will be going downtown to press charges on Justin by the way I am also handicapped so there was no reason for him to willingly assault me for no reason whatsoever and another African-American male got into the melee after the fact threatening that he was going to do something to me if I said another word, I elected to walk off the premises and wait in the street for authorities to arrive I will be contacting Lubbock avenue journal to put an story pertaining my I'll treatment by staff for NO reason whatsoever!!!!
There are so many people who can’t get the love and support they need to get their feet on the ground. I have visited Grace Campus on multiple occasions and I am amazed at the set up, amenities, love, and care that goes into making sure that everyone who enters feels like they matter. What a wonderful place.
Grace Campus is awesome! They work as a team to help individuals with shelter and much more. They continue to make such a positive impact in the Lubbock community.
Grace campus has such an amazing impact in the Lubbock community. One thing that makes Grace campus so awesome is that they make everyone feel so special and valued.
Grace Campus provides a vital service to the Lubbock community. I remember its days of being called "Tent City" and always remembering how grateful the community was for this place. Grace Campus is amazing for placing its clients first.
Grace campus is an amazing organization that is dedicated to helping the community. The people in this organization are driven by their passion to help others and their community. This is an organization built to make positive change. Keep up the excellent work!
Grace campus is a wonderful place doing critically important work in the community - this organization is a passion project for some incredibly talented, caring people, and it's a privilege to support their mission.
I am a donor and have also volunteered with this great organization. I have seen first hand how this organization operates and helps get the homeless of Lubbock back on their feet. I remember one year helping put up Christmas decorations at the main facility. It was so great to see some joy in the eyes of many of these residents. I appreciate all of the great work this team does for the Lubbock community and hope they will be continuing this work for many years to come.
Grace campus does an amazing job of helping people with short term housing. They provide basic necessities and support until their clients can transition to a more independent status. They have upgraded the facilities to provide tiny homes to their clients. They do a great job assisting individuals improve their lives and opportunities.
I have been donating to this nonprofit for several years. I have heard many amazing stories of the people they have helped. They continue to improve the facilities and services they offer so I know that my donations are going directly to help the homeless. Where would Lubbock be without this great program and the leaders and volunteers behind it.
This is such a great charity who does a lot of good for the community. They really care about their clients!
Grace Campus has done so many great things for the community!
I love working with them and visiting them. Couldnt ask for better people to help make the community a better place.
I love this organization because of their humble beginnings and their continued success of helping people get into permanent housing.
I have worked many times with the crew over at Paul’s Project - Grace Campus. You can tell how much they care about their mission and the work they do. It is extremely inspiring and we are very fortunate to work with them!
I am a board member and manage the finances for the organization.
I have been involved in nonprofits for over 40 years in all aspects.
There is no organization that does so much good with so little. They are impacting lives every single day.

I have been involved with Paul's Project since the beginning. I serve on the board of directors as the treasurer. This organization has great integrity. They always put the needs of the client first and do more with little than any other organization that I have been associated with. The staff will always meet people where they are and do whatever they can to help them in being successful in life.
An amazing organization to volunteer with and to work with.
My Experience with grace campus began on a very cold day. I had spent several days outside in freezing weather with nothing but a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and light jacket. I had plastic bags on my feet and a pair of flip flops. I had been assaulted and robbed. I could walk. I was hungry. I was in a very confused and depressed state of mind. I truly had no where to go, but I knew that the Lord would lead me to the right place, and he did, Grace Campus. This is a transitional homeless shelter, the only thing that they ask is that you follow the rules, work and save your money, so you can transition out into your own place. You have 6 months to work, save money and get on your feet. They provide shelter, food, and clothing , and they also have resources that can help with counseling and rehab if a client needs it. They want you to succeed. I and a retired nurse with Physical problems due to brain tumor, and neurological problems after 3 brain surgeries. But since my time here, I have become productive and I can honestly say that with out the help of Grace Campus, The staff there and God, I would have been dead a long time ago. I also suffer from PTSD, due to a very traumatic experience a year ago. I volunteer my help here for anything that needs to be done. I give back as much as I can, by helping out. I am no longer afraid to face the world or what it has in store for me. I have no family to speak of and no children. now with the help of these people I am ready for whatever is in store for me. Thank you God for Grace Campus.
Grace Campus is a haven in Lubbock for those without permanent housing. They provide a safe and welcoming campus to their clients. They assist their clients in searching for jobs and eventually obtaining permanent housing. The staff at Grace Campus remain positive and kind regardless of circumstance, making their facility one of the best transitional housing environments in the state.
My wife and I came here when we became homeless. It was our first time being homeless and we did'nt know what we were going to do. we slept behind the stripes on 50th and Ave A. It rained on us that night and the ground really made my pain worse. We had tried to call but could never get an answer, so we used the last of our money and took the bus over here. They told us that we had to go to the library and fill out the application and as we were leaving they called us to come back and did the application. My wife always says that God sent us here, and i believe that as well. Being here has helped us so very much. I have had a hip replacement since we have come here, waiting for another. I do everything that i can to help out and the directors are so amazing. They do everything that they can to help all of us, I like the fact that it is a Christian environment. I thank God everyday that Grace Campus is here to help people.
I believe the efforts and hearts that have been poured into this nonprofit organization is astounding. They have faced many adversities with Covid restrictions and unbelievable freezes that were almost impossible to survive in, yet persevered to serve those in a great need. For that, Grace Campus is crucially important to Lubbock and those communities surrounding. I am an advisor for Sudan Student Council and we have been blessed to be able to turn around and bless those residing at Grace with fresh pillows and inspirational signs! We can’t wait to be of service again soon!
They provide a valuable service for the homeless population, not just by housing them, but helping them find opportunities to get out of homelessness.
Grace Campus/ Paul’s project is a wonderful organization to work with. They go above and beyond to help their clients.
I love this organization and the work that they do to truly move people out of poverty and into living life and thriving through the love of Jesus. I have volunteered with this organization through the past few years and It is always life changing.
Paul’s Project is such a blessing to our community. The selfless care they give to some of our most vulnerable citizens is beyond compare.
Grace Campus is non profit organization that we should all be supporting. They have so many people helping our homeless to get back on their feet. I'm proud of this organization and will always support them.
Grace Campus is an awesome place to devote time and money too. The staff is Great and the love for the people who need help and support is very important. When I see a homeless person I always refer Grace Campus if there really ready to turn there life around.
My son Chris Moore and his wife Jerri Ann are the directors at Grace Campus. I have seen what they have accomplished in the few years that they have been there. The residents have gone from living in tents to each one having their own tiny home. They have seen many find jobs and move to their own home. I think they are doing an amazing job.
Can't imagine this city without Grace Campus. I've helped a lot of good charities, but I feel like this one most closely matches with my beliefs.
I had nothing and these people took me in and took care of me. I now back on my feet and living in my own apartment. Thank you!
I first started donating to Grace Campus (Paul's Project) back when it was called "Tent City". The transformation to Grace Campus has been amazing. I have seen firsthand, the positive changes in peoples' lives and I continue to be impressed with the services that are provided to the people who reside there until they're able to get back on their feet. The transition from tents to "little houses" has been especially a "God Send". Having a roof over their heads gives the residents a much needed boost in confidence and happiness. Many thanks to the folks who provide for the needs of the residents of Grace Campus.
Grace Campus tirelessly and faithfully serves the homeless population of Lubbock in a professional and relational manner that truly meets the needs of the population.
Grace campus is terrific. Management truly cares about their people. Thankful for people like Jerri Ann. Favorite place to volunteer!!
Grace Campus is incredible. I have never seen such a devoted, welcoming, and caring group of people like the staff here. Every interaction I have had with Grace Campus has been impactful and positive, and each resident I met has been inspiring and friendly. It is a great and organized system which helps all involved.
Grace Campus is a loving and open space for people looking for temporary shelter, but most importantly, hope.
Their tiny houses give their residents dignity and a means of moving toward an independent life outside of the homeless shelter communities. We are so grateful this resource exists in our city and are proud to be regular donors.
This is a great transitional housing place. the directors, staff and volunteers do their best to help those in need of temporary housing, clothing and food. They serve more of a population of those in need than they have funding for at times. They help with medical assistance and resources for jobs as a part of the transition process for those they assist. Amazing blessing to some many in great need!
I have volunteered with this non-profit for a few years now and it hands down has been one of the most impactful experiences I have ever had. Paul’s Project is genuine about helping those who need it and on loving those who may seem ‘unloveable’. They always want the best for their people and always are gracious for the volunteers!
A lot of people are helped through very caring and dedicated individuals with limited access to much needed resources or funding.
Everyone is treated with dignity and compassion and each person receives a personalized accountability plan and services.
Basic human needs are met so that the individual can focus on other areas that need assistance and attention while striving to gain sufficient housing.
Each individual matters and hope is restored.
I had given up hope. But the ppl at Paul's Project refused to give up on me. They coached me out of addiction, helped me find employment & gave me the hope I lost somewhere along the way.
I'm employed full time now, closer to God & myself....and strangely know I'm better off for the homeless experience.
Thanks for the guidance Paul's Project....Please never stop being the beacon that you are.
Pauls Project (Grace Campus), provides an opportunity for people to transition from homelessness to independence and sustainability. The directors, Jerri Ann and Chris are two self-less people who put others ahead of themselves. They provide a safe environment with food, sanitation, shelter and clothing where people who do not have any support can live and work towards autonomy and giving back to the community. We have an opportunity to rally people in our place of work and education at Texas Tech University and the Honors College to provide assistance in many ways. The individuals who live at Grace are most gracious are willing to help while we work in different ways at the campus through our staff, faculty and students. Jerri Ann and Chris are an example to us all. And to quote Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, “The most satisfying thing in life is to have been able to give a large part of one’s self to others”.
Larry and I enjoy volunteering to provide a meal to Grace Campus a minimum of once a month. We provide a meal once a month to celebrate everyone’s birthday during that month. We love Chris and Jerri Ann as well as Mary and Robert. Please consider providing a meal or help out by providing supplies needed.
When we came to Grace Campus my husband and I were on the street. He has alot of health problems. He had been needing a hip replacement. We had been sleeping on the ground at a little pond behind the stripes on 50th and Ave A. The day before we came here, it rained that night and we had no blanket or anything. We had the clothes on our back and that was it. I had tried to call several times and never got an answer. So i told my husband that we would just come over here. We used the last of our money to ride the bus here. When we got here the staff was great and helped us fill out the application and we were excepted on the spot. I prayed all the way over here that we would be able to get in and God answered my prayers. I believe in my heart that God sent us here. We were able to get clothes, blankets, everything that we needed. I have been able to get the health care that I have needed for years going through the programs that are available here. Without Grace Campus I dont know where my husband and I would be! The directors are amazing people, the do everything that they can to help the homeless people in our community. Grace Campus is a Blessing to our community, it not only help the homeless get off the street it helps them in so many other ways. My husband and I have been so blessed by being at grace campus. The Lubbock community is also a blessing to Grace Campus, If they didnt donate the things they do then Grace Campus would not be able to run. They have blessed us in so many ways. My husband is now about to have the total hip replacement that he has so desprately needed, We wouldnt be where we are today without the help of Grace Campus! So many homeless people have been helped to find work and transition out to their own homes. 70+ just this year alone. 78 last year! to me that is Amazing!
I first of want to thank the people that run Grace Campus. If there wasnt people like them I wouldnt be where I am today. This place has given me the chance to get back on my feet. A safe place to lay your head down, food in your stomach and clothes on your back. Since I have been here I have gotten a steady job, starting to save money for my own place. Before I got here I was in and out of jail. And this time I promised myself I would change my life and with this place it has giving me that chance to start over. Now I have my daughter back I in my life in the next couple of months I will have my own place. And I have been drug free in December will be a year. Someday I hope to be able give back to the a place like Grace Campus because this first time in my life I know I will not fail in life and be a postive role model in society today. When people give to places like this we have food to eat and clothes on our back. And they help with resources with medicine and counseling for whether you have mental or emotional needs. People even come out here and get us to work. If your willing to put the effort forward to make that change and work steps to make a positive change in your life. Grace Campus is that chance for change. I thank God and this wonderful people for believing in me when a year ago. I wanted to give up on life. Now I am starting a new one.
