Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: Technical association dedicated to the development and promotion of voluntary recommended standards and associated reference materials.
Programs: Production, through its technical committees, and sale of standards and warning products. These products are continuously updated in cycles (3-5 years) in order to stay current with government regulations and market introductions.
wstda holds two conferences each year. Technical committees meet in open forum to discuss industry issues, testing, government regulations, the development of wstda products, and to continue standards writing efforts. Approximately 90-100 people attend the spring meeting and approximately 80-90 people typically attend the fall meeting. Both members and non-members are invited to participate.
