This organization, made up totally of volunteers, has provided us with backup and supplemental communications during a number of emergencies. The are extremely well organized and professional.
I've been volunteering with the auxiliary since it's founding in 2006 and the experience has been outstanding. The organizational structure and leadership is beyond exceptional. I will be moving out of state and I hope to find a similar organization in my new home state. I wish all in the organization well in all future endeavors.
This group grew out of the Baltimore County Auxiliary Communications Service whcih I joined shortly after it was founded. The leadership of this organization and they organization few exceeds any other orgaization I've volunteered with that provided the same services to the citizens. The leadership's decision to form a parent organization, Maryland Auxiliary Communications Service and bring into the fold Harford, Cecial and other counties brought order to emergency communications in the Tri-County area.
I volunteered with this organization during and in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Sandy in October of 2012. They were well organized and the leadership provided direction and instilled confidence to all who volunteered and to those served. I have contributed of my time and have provided sonations of equipment to assist in their mission.
