Mission: The wsas' mission is to advise public policy makers with independent, objective scientific analysis. In addition, it is also our mission to inform public policy makers on science and engineering.
Programs: Annual academy symposium held september 2014 - "health disparities in washington state: narrowing the gap" at the museum of flight, seattle, wa. Report being reviewed for the washington department of fish and wildlife for an updated riparian zone policy manual. Sponsorship of two top washington state high school science fair winners to attend the national meeting of the american junior academy of sciences in san jose, ca, february 2015. Academy developed a nomination process for competitive appointments of scientists to the science panel of the washington state puget sound partnership.
