Mission: Our mission is to preserve sight and prevent blindness. The Children''s Vision Screening Program is the cornerstone of Prevent Blindness Oklahoma. We have been providing free vision screenings for children at preschools, day care centers, Head Start centers, elementary, and secondary schools since 1965. Prevent Blindness Oklahoma provides services in all 77 counties in Oklahoma. We also provide safety, community health and education programs through local health fairs. We also serve as an information and referral service for Oklahomans in need of vision services.
