Mission: Administer, promote, enhance, revitalize vista's downtown thru effective volunteer-driven management; recruit new businesses, improve district's competitive market position; plan and advertise downtown as unified shopping area through promotional events/marketing.
Programs: The rod run/bbq event weekend attracts participants from all over which not only encourages thousands of people to visit downtown vista, but also encourages merchants to extend their business hours for the event.
all other fundraising events are conducted to encourage a more positive atmosphere in the downtown area; enhance customer experiences and to promote/increase business opportunities for all companies and organizations within the district.
vista vintage & makers market fundraiser is a twice per year marketplace hosted along broadway in historic downtown. This market hosts aproximately 80-100 vendors selling handmade and craft goods.
