Mission: Vision: Internationally recognized center of excellence for hands-on education/training, research and development, and investigating forensic science and medicine. Mission: Offer forensic training to highly educated and motivated individuals in the ONLY hands-on institute that will prepare them to become fully qualified in the various disciplines of forensic science and medicine. The Institute operates through two centers, the forensic medical center and forensic science center. Within each center there are three primary functions: (1) education of students; (2) training; (3) research and development. These programs are conducted in a "working lab/real life experience" environment. Using state of the art equipment and techniques as a result of the public/private venture. The Institute seeks funding from both public and private sources.
