Causes: Human Services, Senior Centers, Seniors
Mission: Our Mission is to provide technical, marketing, and outreach support to Senior Villages and other organizations, to enhance their ability to provide volunteer transportation and to increase volunteerism and ridership.
Results: Serving 7 existing and emerging Senior Villages in Montgomery County.
Target demographics: Senior Villages and other organizations that serve people who need transportation.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In the first year of our existence, we helped 5 Villages to provide over 10,000 rides to Seniors in their neighborhoods!
Geographic areas served: We support transportation services in Montgomery County, Maryland. We plan to expand our services in the future.
Programs: We provide technical, marketing & outreach support to Villages that serve Seniors in their communities.
