Mission: The vienna jammers' mission is to educate youth through unique percussion programs, provide a dynamic and diverse experience in the performing arts, nurture the creativity of each child, and enrich the lives within the community. The vienna jammers organization provides a fun and educational outlet for students after school hours. Local kids are welcome to attend a "mini-camp" where they learn percussion basics and have the opportunity to join the group. They are provided the opportunity to learn new rhythms and instruments in a fun environment. The kids also learn responsibility through the group; they are required to come to rehearsals on time, prepared to play and learn, and help load in and out for group gigs. Additionally, the vienna jammers provide the community with a unique performance group, and they are often asked to perform at town functions, providing welcome musical interludes during these events.
