Over the past four years the VetFund has provided grant fund to the California Troops to Teacher Program. The grant money was used to honor the California Troops to Teachers of the Year in a gala event that brought together teachers, principals, district superintendents, miltiary personnel, and govnenment officials. The grant money was awarded to the teachers of the year to use in their repsective classrooms. Without the VetFund grant funding this event would not have been possible. The VetFund board is an all volunteer organization with the soul intent of helping Veterans. 100% of the donations go to supporting Veteran programs. No administrative fee is charged. I have extesnive experience with non-profits and I can say without hesitation the VetFund is one of the best managed and operated organization.
