Mission: The mission of veterans corner is to provide a friendly enviroment to help all certified veterans and dependents complete the required documents for va benefits. This will include but not be limited to assistance with claims for service connected compensation, pension benefits and widow benefits. Our goal is to give financial assistance to the most needy veterans an their families by assisting with food items, paying late utilities, rent, medical expenses and some transportation costs. Veterans want to help other needy veterans and voluntarity donate to veterans corner in this effort.
Programs: Assistance with medical expenses - help veterans pay for hearing examinations and evaluations by other medical personnel to suport the claims made for service connected disability.
financial assistance - our goal is to provide financial assistance to the most needy veterans and veterans' families by assisting with food, late utility bills, rent, burial needs and other crisis assistance.
transportation assistance to doctor appointments, va hospital or other necessary transportation. Assistance may be based on a financial need or physical need.
breakfast and/or lunch for disabled veterans every thursday. We provide a friendly enviroment to help veterans navigate the complicated va system to submit the appropriate documentation to support their claims. We meet weekly to aid those filing new disability claims and to support all veterans who are struggling with their disabilities.
