Causes: Civil Liberties, Civil Rights
Mission: We exist to increase the health, well-being, and livelihood of all in need. Our programs help support low-income individuals and families, the homeless, and at-risk people. We envision a world where we aid the collective consciousness by promoting greater civility, compassion, and cordiality towards all living beings.
Programs: We help clients navigate the complex private and public benefits system. We provide one-on-one advocacy assessing what benefits people are eligible to receive, and can also assist in the application process. Our group education program sponsors a variety of free, not-for-credit, learning seminars and workshops. Each week, a new topic is presented based on assessment of community and workforce needs or interests.
