Mission: To provide child nutrition counseling and partial meal reimbursement for feeding nutritious meals to children in a family child care setting following usda and california department of education meal service requirements.
Programs: Ventura county day care association provides nutritional education, and monentary meal reimbursement to over 900 family child care providers, so that they can feed healthy and nutritious meals to the children in their care. These services are provided free of charge.
