Causes: Arts & Culture, Arts Education
Mission: To educate and inspire young musicians through exceptional ensemble training and performance opportunities in classical music. Approxiamately 170 musicians ranging in ages 12-21 participate in three orchestras: the utah youth junior symphony, the utah youth philharmonic orchestra and the utah youth symphony orchestra. The symphony seeks beauty, creates harmony and scatters joy throughout the greater salt lake area and community.
Programs: The utah youth symphony orchestra meets weekly with members to practice and has two concerts per year.
