Mission: To unify, strengthen and elevate utah's nonprofit community.
Programs: Professional development - provide access to affordable training and an annual conference that meets a variety of nonprofit organizational needs throughout utah to help nonprofit organizations operate at peak effectiveness. In 2017, 515 participants participated in the annual conference. The nonprofit organizational credential program, which helps nonprofits gain best practices and provides them the tools for long-term sustainability, trained 168 nonprofit professionals representing 84 organizations across the state. 21 badges through the nonprofit organizational credential were awarded to organizations.
member services - provide a spectrum of services that support entry level to seasoned nonprofit staff and volunteers. These services include technical assistance, group purchasing programs, access to cost effective health insurance and other administrative services (such as background check services, grant seeking database), information and research on nonprofit sector issues and networking activities. At the end of 2017, una had 729 members. 599 were nonprofit members, 86 were individual members, and 44 were business members. 33 of those members were new members.
