Programs: Upg is a multi-specialty physicians group created to give the faculty physicians of the university of texas health science center at san antonio (uthscsa) an opportunity to accept risk-based managed care contracts and to provide practice management services for overall system enhancement. Upg provides practice management services to uthscsa including, but not limited to, billing and receivable management, patient scheduling, electronic medical records, and financial and productivity reporting services. Patients served during the fiscal year were 220,212.
