Programs: The university of arizona medical center is committed to delivering leading-edge patient care to patients and their families in a supportive and caring environment. We offer a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services, including oncology, cardiovascular services, pediatric services, transplant programs, and trauma and emergency services. Operating as the sole level 1 trauma center in southern arizona since 2003, emergency medicine provides trauma care to all of southern arizona. The university of arizona medical center's oncology program offers a multi-disciplinary care to patients across arizona, excelling in ground-breaking research, education, and outreach programs. Our facilities include an outpatient clinical facility; a "one stop" center where patients receive a variety of support services as well as leading-edge cancer therapies. In 2010, the university of arizona medical center opened the diamond children's medical center, a facility designed to provide the most advanced pediatric health care possible while maintaining a comfortable, healing, atmosphere for children and their families.
