Programs: Community services: community food ministry (cfm) provides a food box for those living at 130% of the federal guideline for poverty. Community supplemental food program (csfp) provides a food box for the elderly who meet federal guidelines for poverty. Klothes kloset (kk) provides clothing for the poor. Number of clients served: cfm, 16,353 individuals; csfp, 2,301 individuals, and kk, 20,015 families. Programs help those in poverty make ends meet by freeing up income for other unmet needs.
homeless services: homeless resource center (hrc) is a program that provides day shelter and support services for homeless adults. Family rapid rehousing (frrh) provides housing and support services for families moving from homelessness to permanent housing. Vision quest (vq) provides families with support services to prevent homelessness. Number of clients served: hrc, 1,631 individuals; vq, 73 families, and frrh, 24 families and 82 individuals. Programs are designed to increase well-being and to assist individuals and families in moving toward a stronger sense of self-determination.
