Mission: United Cerebral Palsy is committed to advancing the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
Programs: UCP's programs include:
Supported Living, promoting the transition away from segregated, institutional residence by helping adults with disabilities to live in their own homes and apartments
Supported Employment, helping people with disabilities find and keep meaningful employment in an intgrated, competitive workforce
Family Support, providing the families of children with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities with information, support groups, family activities, peer mentoring, and referral to other resources
Adult Advocacy, assisting adults with disabilities by providing information, public education, and legislative support.
UCP also runs a "Donation Pick-up Service", picking up reusable clothing and household items for resale and generating additional revenue for our support programs.
