Mission: Stream ecology conservation.
Programs: In 2017 the tfa continued to work with various conservation organizations and invested $4,189 for legal assistance to have the pa department of environmental protection declare the tunkhannock creek an exceptional value watershed. Tfa continued to improve the stream by monitoring water ph and its effect on insect life in the stream. Tfa is studying ways to prevent stream bank erosion at several bends in the stream. Tfa installed a new access road and underground pipe to prevent run off pollution into the stream from the construction to be done for a new intersection where route 903 joins route 115.
