Mission: To build the capacity of fox valley residents to improve the long-term social, economic and environmental health of their communities.
Programs: Neighborhood partners: hired a program coordinator to build relationships and facilitate projects in a demonstration of neighborhood residents organizing to acheive sustainable community outcomes. Energy challenge: coordinated an energy challenge in several local schools, in conjunction with cool choices, another wisconsin organization. Measured the results acheived by students' families in energy conservation and adopting sustainable practices and awarded prizes to willing schools. Defined criteria for future projects and sponsored meetings to begin program planning for a fox valley time bank.
