Love this organization, it's a family reunion for our family! Seeing other families that looked like ours was so helpful while our daughter was growing up! The Rynos and ALL the others that organize and volunteer are simply wonderful!

Umoja has been a wonderful resource for our family. The annual fall camp experience had given my husband and I valuable tools to continue to raise our Black children in a culturally inclusive way. It has also given our kids a place to go and create new friendships and feel a sense of normal with other families like ours. This is a terrific organization to support for all they do to support transracial adoption families.

Amazing experience. We love connecting with other families like ours. As parents we learn and reflect on how best to raise a black child. The children get to be with other children like them and have age appropriate learning activities. Lots of thought and preparation goes into all aspects of the camp. Every year I think they can't top this year and every year they do! Absolutely love UMOJA, recommend you come join our UMOJA family!

It is a true blessing to see the children learn and experience cultural influences that they may not receive anywhere else. Children can get their hair cut or braided and educated on how to take care of their hair. The music and dances are terrific! Overall Umoja is unequivocally a great program.

Love this organization! Our family gets to connect with other families like ours. The kids get to do fun activities and the adults get to learn valuable information about what it is means to parent an African American child which is so important! We wouldn't make it without the insights, friendships, and knowledge Umoja provides.

Amazing experience for everyone in our family! As parents we learned so many things to better help our children grow into the culture we otherwise wouldn't be able to teach them.
