Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection, Pollution Abatement & Control, Water, Water Resources, Wetlands Conservation & Management
Mission: We are a volunteer organization trying to help conserve, protect, reconnect, and restore cold water fisheries and the fish in those waters.
Programs: We educated many of the 2500 attendees to our fundraising expo about trout unlimited and had booths and classes that showed how we help conserve our coldwater fisheries.
we installed an aquarium in a local school for a program called trout in the classroom. Live trout eggs are placed in the aquarium and allow the children to follow the life of the fish from hatching to somewhat maturity before being released into a community fishing pond.
we assisted the state department of natural resources in collecting trout eggs from brood stock fish to be raised in hatcheries two times.
we assisted the state department of natural resources in removing non native fish from sections of millcreek to allow the future reintroduction of native bonneville cutthroat trout.
